Shopping at kartenmachen.de: delivery countries, shipping, withdrawal and cashback
kartenmachen.de, run by Kartenmachen.de Druck GmbH in Nuremberg, prints cards that you design yourself: invitations, thank-you cards, birthday and wedding stationery. Because each order is printed for you, the rules for delivery and returns differ from a normal shop. We read the payment and shipping page, the withdrawal information and the shop's support article about foreign deliveries in October 2026. Details can change, so check the cart before paying.
Delivery countries
The shop delivers within Germany and to 51 other countries and territories. In and around the EU these include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Beyond that the list includes the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Turkey, Ukraine, Serbia, Israel, Egypt and Morocco, among others. The USA is not on the list.
Shipping cost
Deliveries within Germany carry no shipping charge. For foreign deliveries the shop calculates the fee by zones taken over from DHL. You see the fee in the cart. Parcels go with Deutsche Post, DHL or GLS depending on the country. Prices include German VAT. For non-EU countries such as the UK or Switzerland, ask the shop about customs duties before you order there.
Delivery time
Unless the offer states a different period, the shop delivers in Germany within 1 to 3 days after the contract is concluded, and abroad within 3 to 4 days. With advance payment the clock starts when your transfer is received. Inside the EU zones 1 and 2 the transport itself usually takes 1 to 4 working days. There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. If one order contains items with different delivery times, everything ships together and the longest time applies.
Withdrawal: not for personalised cards
Consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a contract. The terms list an exception, though: goods that are not prefabricated and are made to your individual choice, or clearly tailored to personal needs, are excluded. A printed card with your own text and photo falls into this group, so expect to keep it. Check the proof and the text very carefully before you confirm. Standard goods remain covered by the 14 days.
Payment
Accepted are advance payment by bank transfer, invoice through Klarna, Amazon Pay and, through PayPal checkout, PayPal, PayPal Express, credit card, SEPA direct debit and giropay. Invoice payment is only open to authorities and companies, and the invoice is due within 14 days.

Using cashback
Open the kartenmachen.de page page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 5%) and the offers we found are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button there, then order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once kartenmachen.de has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.
A few practical tips
- Order well ahead of the date you need the cards, the stated times start after the contract is concluded.
- Proofread names, dates and addresses on the cards twice, because personalised prints cannot be withdrawn.
- Ask about duties before sending cards to the UK, Switzerland or Norway.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker so the click is not lost.
