Shopping at Heimwerkertools: shipping, countries, 100-day returns and cashback

· 2026-09-17

Heimwerkertools (hwt-pro.com) is an Austrian online shop for DIY and workshop supplies: furniture hardware, drawer runners, fittings, tools and fixings. The shop speaks German, but it ships well beyond Germany and Austria. We read its shipping and payment page, the returns page and the FAQ in October 2026. The shop can change its terms, so treat the checkout as the final word.

Where does Heimwerkertools deliver?

The shipping page lists Germany and Austria first, then France, Switzerland, Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Great Britain. Orders to Germany and Austria are priced on the page. For every other country the shop says the available options and costs appear in the basket, so there is no fixed table we can quote. Some countries may charge customs duties, which depend on the product, the order value and local rules.

Shipping costs

Shipping to Germany and to Austria costs 5,99 €. There is no minimum order value, but if the goods in your basket come to less than 15 € the shop adds a service fee of 3,00 €. Parcels go out with DHL, Deutsche Post, GLS, GLS Express or DHL Express and are delivered to your address rather than to a distant parcel shop. You get an email with the tracking data when the order leaves the warehouse.

Delivery time

The exact time is shown on each product page. For deliveries outside the EU the shop says it normally takes no more than seven working days. The dispatch period starts when payment arrives; with prepayment that is the next working day after the money is received, with invoice purchases the next working day after the order. Express shipping arrives on average within 2 working days.

Returns and the 100-day guarantee

Heimwerkertools gives you 100 days to return goods without giving a reason, counted from the day you received the last part of the order. The money goes back to the payment method you used within 48 hours after the parcel reaches the main warehouse. That warehouse is in Austria, so a return from Germany can take 5 to 10 days to arrive. Put the invoice in the parcel, stick on the return label and pay the postage yourself, because unstamped parcels are refused. Returns to the German address have to go with DHL. Customers in the EU and elsewhere send parcels to the address in Gampern, Austria.

Payment

The shop accepts PayPal, Amazon Pay, Visa and Mastercard, Apple Pay, prepayment (goods stay reserved for 14 days) and Klarna Sofortüberweisung. Purchase on invoice through Klarna, with 14 days to pay, is only offered to customers in Germany and Austria. Local methods include Bancontact for Belgium, iDEAL for the Netherlands, eps for Austria, TWINT for Switzerland and Przelewy24 for Poland. Business customers can also buy on invoice directly from the shop.

Using cashback

Open the Heimwerkertools page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3%) and the offers we found are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return window. A returned product reduces the amount for that item.

Practical tips

  • Add a few small items to reach 15 € of goods and the shipping service fee disappears.
  • Outside Germany and Austria, look at the basket before paying, since that is where the shipping cost shows up.
  • Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop, as either can break the click.
