Bailey Nelson Canada: shipping, delivery times, returns and cashback
Bailey Nelson sells glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses and runs separate websites for each market. This guide is about the Canadian site at baileynelson.com. Before you order, it helps to know where the shop actually delivers, how long custom lenses take and what you can send back.
Where Bailey Nelson delivers
The Canadian website ships within Canada. The brand also delivers within Australia for purchases made on baileynelson.com.au and within New Zealand for purchases made on baileynelson.co.nz, but each of those is a separate store. Shipping to the United States has been paused since 29 August 2025 because of changes in tariff rules. If you live outside Canada, the shipping page points to international contact details. Canada Post delays were reported on the page too: deliveries to P.O. boxes, northern and remote areas can take longer, and the shop has arranged alternative carriers.
Shipping cost
Online orders over $150 ship free. Anything under $150 pays a standard shipping rate of $10. If you have an item from a store sent to your home, a $10 shipping fee applies as well.
Delivery times
| Order | Estimated delivery |
|---|---|
| Prescription glasses | About 10 to 15 business days, free shipping over $150 |
| Frames with non-prescription lenses | About 10 to 15 business days, shipping $10 under $150 |
| Non-prescription sunglasses and accessories | About 5 to 7 business days from the warehouse |
| Contact lenses | About 3 to 7 business days after processing |
The shop calls these dates estimates, not guarantees. They assume complete information such as a valid prescription and pupillary distance, and missing details cause delays. The prescription is reviewed by an online dispensing team, which will email you if something is unclear. You receive a tracking number by email once the order ships, and peak or sale periods can slow things down.
Returns and warranty
Custom prescription products are final sale. If you are worried about your lenses, the shop says it will remake them within 28 days of purchase. Progressive lenses come with a 28-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of collection. If your glasses have a material or production fault within one year, Bailey Nelson repairs or replaces them with a like-for-like pair. Adjustments and professional cleaning in a store are free for the life of the glasses.
For non-prescription orders above the $150 free shipping threshold, returns and exchanges are accepted within 28 days of receipt. Email [email protected] to get the next steps. A return postage fee of $10 is deducted from the refund for orders placed from Canada, while online exchanges within Canada carry no return postage fee. Sale items are final sale. If you bought a multi-pair offer and return one pair, the offer discount no longer applies to the pair you keep.
Kids frames have a 12-month manufacturing warranty. The shop also gives 50% off replacements for lost, broken or scratched kids glasses within 12 months, and replaces lenses free of charge if the prescription changes within three months with a valid prescription.
Using cashback
Open the Bailey Nelson page at daily cashback. It shows the current cashback (2.5%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then order and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open first and turns confirmed once Bailey Nelson has reported the order. Returned items reduce it. Codes from other sites can cancel the cashback, so use only the offers on the shop page.
Practical tips
- A basket of $140 can be cheaper with one more small item than with the $10 shipping fee.
- Have your prescription and pupillary distance ready, so the lab does not wait for details.
- Order with enough lead time: prescription glasses take up to three weeks.
