Shopping at Bagsmart: UK and US delivery, returns and cashback

Bagsmart sells travel bags, backpacks, luggage and packing cubes through separate regional shops. The US shop at bagsmart.com, the UK shop and the German shop each have their own delivery and return rules, so it matters which one you order from. This guide covers the US and UK shops.

UK shop

The UK shop says its products are only available in the United Kingdom, and prices are shown in pounds including taxes. Orders under 50 pounds pay a delivery cost of 5 pounds, and free shipping applies from an order value of 50 pounds. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days and delivery 3 to 7 business days. Deliveries happen Monday to Friday, and you receive the tracking number and the courier name by email once the order has shipped.

US shop and other countries

The US shop delivers to the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii. It also ships to a long list of other countries and regions. Canada is on that list, while luggage items cannot go to areas where the ZIP code starts with 9, which includes Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and American Samoa.

Processing adds 1 to 2 business days in both cases. Outside the US, your parcel can be subject to customs fees and import duties. The recipient pays these, and the shop cannot calculate them at checkout. Fill in the checkout form in English only, otherwise the order cannot be processed.

The shop also offers an optional shipping protection. If you buy it and the parcel is lost, damaged or stolen in transit, the shop replaces the order.

Returns

Bagsmart gives 30 days from receipt to ask for a return or exchange. Email the service team first with your order number, the items and the reason, attach photos and include proof of purchase. After approval you get the return address by email, so do not send the parcel back to the address on the box. Items must be unused and returned with tags, packaging and any free gifts. Luggage is covered by a longer return period of 100 days in the US shop.

  • You pay the return shipping if the reason is not a quality problem. Damaged items do not cost you return shipping.
  • A refused parcel loses 10 percent of the refund as a shipping deduction.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. Allow 14 business days for processing, plus the time the bank needs.
  • You can cancel before dispatch for a full refund, but not once the order has shipped.

Shipping costs from the original order are not refunded, and a refund can be reduced if part of the order was a promotion such as buy one get one free.

Payment

The UK shop accepts cards, PayPal and Klarna instalments, and it also shows bank transfer and Western Union as options with confirmation within 2 working days. The US shop describes credit cards and PayPal, so look at the payment methods in your own checkout.

Cashback at Bagsmart

Open the Bagsmart page at daily cashback, where the current rate (2.5%) and the offers are listed, and we check them daily. Press the shop button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once Bagsmart has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback for that item.

Practical tips

  • Choose the shop for your own country before you fill the basket, since the delivery rules differ.
  • Test that your laptop or gear fits before you remove tags, because used items are not accepted back.
  • Close other cashback and voucher sites while you shop, as a later click can replace the first one.
