Adrenaline: cancelling bookings, gift certificates and cashback
Adrenaline sells adventure experiences such as skydiving, hot air ballooning, helicopter rides and scenic flights across the United States, plus gift certificates for them. It is a booking service, not the operator of the activities, so the points that matter are cancellation, what a gift certificate is worth and how long it lasts. This guide goes through them, along with delivery of certificates and the cashback steps.
Where you can use it
The homepage invites you to choose from activities anywhere in the USA, and the contact page lists a US toll-free number plus a separate number to call from outside the United States. Bookings are made on the Adrenaline website, and an activity is run by an independent experience provider. If you live outside the US, plan to travel to the activity; the certificate or booking itself arrives by email.
Bookings and cancelling
Bookings made through Adrenaline can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before the scheduled adventure, unless the product page says otherwise. After that point, bookings are non-refundable. Changes such as a new date or a transfer to another person may carry fees set by the provider, and a processing and administration fee applies to each confirmed booking. If you do not show up, no refund or credit is given.
The optional Adrenaline Flex upgrade lets you cancel for any reason until the confirmed arrival time, for example weather, illness or a change of mind, and refunds the full retail value. It does not apply to no-shows. If the provider cancels because of weather, equipment failure or too few participants, you can choose a credit to the original certificate, a new Adrenaline Gift Certificate or a cash refund to your payment method, which is processed within 7 business days.

Gift certificates
A gift certificate is sent instantly by email or can be posted in a brushed metal gift box. Free shipping applies to gift certificate orders over $199; if you buy several in one order, the average value must be above $199. Express shipping of the gift pack is available as an option.
Flex certificates and variable-load gift cards do not expire. Adventure-specific and membership certificates with a dollar value are valid for 5 years from purchase. If the price of the experience has changed, you pay the difference when you redeem after one year. You can ask for a refund of an unused gift certificate within 14 days of purchase, minus delivery charges or service fees, and only the original purchaser gets it. The gift certificate terms add a non-refundable transaction fee of 4 percent to each order, so factor that into the price you compare. After 14 days the certificate is no longer refundable, but it can be exchanged for another Adrenaline adventure. To pass a certificate on to someone else, call the shop and request a transfer form, because written consent is needed. When redeeming, the shop prefers two weeks notice.
Price promise and offers
Adrenaline states a lowest price guarantee: if you find a lower advertised online price for the same adventure from the same operator, it will endeavor to beat it. Only one promotional code per person and transaction can be used, and promotional codes do not combine with gift certificate or gift card redemptions unless stated.
Using cashback
Open the Adrenaline page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 3%) is shown. Press the shop button, then book or buy as usual. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order. A cancelled booking or refunded certificate is deducted again. Use only offers from that page, because a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
