Booking Guestz serviced apartments: payment, ID, cancellation and cashback
Guestz rents serviced apartments, studios and rooms across the UK for leisure breaks, business trips and longer work stays. There is nothing to ship, so the points that count are what the nightly rate includes, when you pay, how cancellation works and what an overseas guest needs to know. Everything is priced in pounds sterling.
Where you can stay
The properties are in the UK only. The home page presents buildings such as Bayview, Rhosneigr, The Wellington in Blackpool, City Point in Hull and The Wire in Warrington, and the company itself is based near Chester. The shop page lists them under Our locations. You book through the website, and Guestz also appears on platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com. Payment rules for those platforms follow the platform, not the Guestz terms.
What the rate includes
According to the FAQ, the nightly rate covers linen, towels, bills, kitchen utensils and basic amenities such as washing-up liquid, tea and coffee making facilities and a toilet roll per bathroom. The property is cleaned after every stay, and on longer stays weekly. Keys are in a key safe at most properties, and some are collected from a nearby KeyNest store. Most apartments come with one allocated parking space, but not all, so ask before you book. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, the team can arrange it in most cases. For stays of 28 nights or more you contact Guestz directly for corporate rates.
Booking, payment and ID
Full payment is due 14 days before arrival, by bank transfer or credit or debit card, and it must be made in pounds sterling. Guests must be over 21. Credit card details are held on file to cover damages. Before check-in you have to provide a valid passport or a current driving licence, which matters for guests arriving from abroad. Stays longer than four weeks are invoiced in 28-night blocks. The terms list check-in from 6 pm with 16:00 in brackets, and check-out at 10 am, so confirm the exact check-in time when you book.
Cancellation
A booking is non-refundable if you cancel less than 14 days before the start date, and non-arrivals get no refund. The FAQ puts it as 14 days notice. Shortening a stay counts as a cancellation as well, so travel insurance is worth having, and the team recommends it. If Guestz has to cancel, it tries to offer a suitable alternative, and if that is not possible you get a full refund for the dates it cannot provide.
House rules and extra charges
All properties are non-smoking, and traces of smoking lead to a cleaning charge of a minimum of £150. Selected properties accept one or two small to medium dogs at £25 per dog, and pets must stay off furniture and carpets. Instead of a refundable deposit, Guestz charges a £30 non-refundable waiver, though it keeps the right to ask for a deposit in some cases.

Using cashback
Open the Guestz page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) and the offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button, then book and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Guestz has reported the booking. If a booking is cancelled, the cashback for it is deducted.
Practical tips
- Book direct on the Guestz website when you want the cashback, since a booking made on an outside platform follows that platform.
- Keep the cancellation window in mind, because 14 days before arrival the money is no longer refundable.
- Finish the booking in one visit and pause your ad blocker, since either can break the click.
