Fashion and Shoes: Sizes, Returns and Cashback
Fashion is one of the most returned categories in online shopping, for an obvious reason: you cannot try anything on before it arrives. A size that fits in one brand is too small in another, and a colour on a screen looks different in daylight. Because returns are part of the process, the smart approach is to plan for them. This guide covers sizes, return rules and what happens to cashback along the way.
Find your real size
Measure yourself, or the child, with a tape and write the numbers down: chest, waist, hips, foot length. Then compare them with the size chart of each brand rather than relying on the letter on the label. Look at the notes about fit, for example whether an item runs small or has a relaxed cut. Customer comments often mention this. For shoes, measure your foot in the evening, when it is slightly larger, and leave room for socks.
Know the return rules before ordering
The three things to check are the length of the return window, who pays for the return label, and the condition the item must be in. Some shops accept returns only when tags are attached and items are unworn. Sale items, underwear, swimwear and personalised goods are often excluded. Write the deadline in your calendar on the day the parcel is expected.
Order in a way that protects you
If you are unsure between two sizes, you may order both and return one, but that only makes sense if returns are free or cheap. Count the cost of return shipping in your comparison. A low price loses its charm if you pay a fee on every return. It also helps to place uncertain items in a separate order, so that the rest of the basket is not affected if you send something back.
What cashback does with returns
Cashback is paid for what you keep. If you return an item, the shop reports the refund and the cashback for that item is normally cancelled. This is the main reason why fashion cashback can look smaller than expected. Conditions often exclude gift cards, some brands and sometimes sale items or orders paid with a special code. The pages tell you which apply.
It is fine to return what does not fit, since cashback should never push you to keep something you will not wear. Only keep what you really want.
Compare more than the price
For each shop write the price, the shipping cost, the free shipping limit, the delivery time, the return window and who pays for returns. Then look at the cashback and the current offers. At daily cashback we put cashback, offers and terms side by side and check them daily, which is how the best total saving shows up. The cheapest shirt with a hard return process is not the best deal. The same logic applies to hair products and accessories, for which pages like UNice and Luvme Hair list their conditions in the same way.
Seasonal timing
Fashion shops reduce stock at the end of each season, and big sale weekends bring more offers. If you need an item now, buy it now. If it can wait, compare over a few weeks. We cannot predict which items will be reduced, so avoid buying something just because a countdown suggests urgency. Also remember that sale items may come with stricter return terms.
Fit checks at home
When the parcel arrives, try the items on soon, ideally the same day. For shoes, walk on a clean indoor floor so that you do not mark the soles. Keep tags, labels and packaging until you decide. If you want to return something, follow the shop's instructions exactly, and hold on to the postage receipt until the refund arrives.

Children and growing sizes
For children, buy for the season ahead and not for next year, because growth is uneven. Look for adjustable waists and cuffs, and check that shoes have enough room at the toe. Keep a list of the sizes that worked in each brand, so that the next order is easier. A short note on your phone saves you from guessing again, and reduces the number of returns, which in turn protects the cashback you would otherwise lose.
Payout
Once the return period has passed and the shop confirms the order, the cashback becomes confirmed. From 20 USD you can ask for a payout by PayPal. We are an information portal and do not sell clothes ourselves.
