Returns are linked to cashback
TTfone states a 30-day return policy on its brand-new phones and on its returned resale deals. For faulty items, tell the shop within 14 calendar days of receipt, and for a change of mind you inform TTfone within 14 days. The shop refunds to the original payment method. For your cashback only one rule counts: cashback is confirmed for orders the shop keeps, so a returned or cancelled order earns nothing.
Doro gives you 14 days from receipt to request a return when you buy direct. You do it in your Doro account with a six-digit code sent by email. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and the standard delivery charge is refunded as well. Premium shipping options are not refunded.
Warranty compared
TTfone says two years of warranty on the TT150, TT190, TT280, TT760, TT880, TT970, TT890 and TT990, and one year on the TT170, TT175, TT220, TT240, TT300, TT660, TT750 and TT950. Returned resale deals carry three months. Registering the phone online extends the cover to two years, per the shop. The warranty excludes faults from physical or liquid damage.
Doro states that its products are covered for 24 months. If a long cover is your priority, both brands offer two years, but with TTfone it depends on the model, so check the list before you order.
Delivery
TTfone delivers standard orders in the UK free of charge in 4 to 7 working days. Expedited delivery in 2 to 3 working days and express delivery in 1 to 2 working days cost extra. Orders placed by 2 pm on weekdays are dispatched the same day, according to the shop. Orders to most EU countries ship from warehouses in France and Spain without import duties.
Doro offers free UK delivery when you buy direct. Its shop ships to the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man and Sweden, and the cost and time show at checkout. Orders outside those places may meet customs charges, as the shop points out.
