Simon-Profi-Technik: shipping to AT, BE, LU, NL, FR and IT, plus returns
Simon-Profi-Technik is a German dealer for garden and forestry machines: chainsaws, lawn mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and cordless tools, with brands such as Husqvarna and Stiga in the range. The shop ships from Germany to a short list of European countries. This guide sums up the delivery costs per country, the delivery times and the return rules.
Countries and delivery costs
In Germany, standard shipping with GLS or by freight forwarder is free from a basket value of €49. Below that you choose between GLS at €6.90 and DHL at €7.90. For some products DHL can be selected for an extra €7.90, or €29.90 for bulky goods. The standard shipping from €49 stays free in every case. German islands cannot be supplied, and the shop publishes a list of excluded postcodes.
The shop also delivers to other countries, always for items up to 30 kg and with GLS at a flat rate:
- Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands: €7.90 shipping
- France: €19.90 shipping
- Italy: €24.90 shipping
Other destinations are not listed on the shipping page. Express shipping is not available.
Delivery time
The goods are handed to third-party carriers. Items in stock ship within two to eight working days after the order arrives, or after the money arrives if you pay in advance. Items over 40 kg travel by freight forwarder, and the delivery can take longer depending on the appointment you agree. If an item is not in stock, the delivery time can reach two weeks. Partial deliveries are allowed, and transport and packaging costs are charged only once in that case.

Withdrawal, returns and warranty
You can withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period starts when you or a person you name receives the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, it starts with the last one. Send a clear statement by email or letter, a form is available but not required. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. The refund, including the standard delivery cost, follows within fourteen days after your notice arrives, to the payment method you used.
Cancelling an order must be done in writing, and whether it still works depends on the processing status. Changing an order afterwards is not possible. For warranty, you have two years of statutory liability for defects from delivery. A manufacturer guarantee is voluntary and varies by brand.
Payment
The shop offers prepayment, payment on pick-up in its store with cash or card, and PayPal. Through PayPal you can also use direct debit, pay on invoice or pay by card.
Outside the EU
If you take goods out of the EU yourself and want the VAT refunded to you, the shop charges a processing fee of €40. The refund has to be requested within three months of the order.
Cashback
