Lyra Pet: shipping to five countries, dispatch times and withdrawal

Lyra Pet is a German online shop for pet supplies, shipping from a central warehouse in Gladbeck, North Rhine-Westphalia. Delivery countries and shipping costs

Shipping goes by DHL or Hermes. Choosing between the two is possible only for customers inside Germany. The shipping table prices parcels per 25 kg.

Dispatch times

Orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 are usually packed and shipped the same day, except Monday orders, which leave on Tuesday. The warehouse works Monday to Friday and does not ship on public holidays, which the shipping page lists, for example 24, 25, 26 and 31 December. Collection at the warehouse is not possible.

Pre-orders

Some items are out of stock but on their way back. You can pre-order them, but the whole order then ships later, not only the pre-ordered item. The shop does not split orders afterwards, so if you want the rest sooner, place two separate orders. The date shown includes a generous buffer, and the parcel may leave days or weeks earlier but normally not later.

Payment

Lyra Pet lists advance payment by bank transfer, Amazon Payments, PayPal and PayPal Express, direct debit via PayPal Plus, Klarna Pay Now, Klarna invoice, Visa, American Express and Mastercard.

Withdrawal and returns

Consumers have one month to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons. The period starts when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the goods. Withdraw by email to [email protected], by letter, or through the online form on the shop site. Lyra Pet refunds your payments, including standard delivery costs, within fourteen days of receiving your notice, using the original payment method. You send the goods back within fourteen days of telling the shop, and the shop bears the direct cost of the return. You pay for a loss in value only if you handled the goods more than needed to check them. The right of withdrawal does not exist for business customers, and some goods, such as perishable items, are excluded.

Using cashback

Open the Lyra Pet page at daily cashback, where the current rate (2.5%) is shown beside the offers we check every day. French readers can use the French page and Dutch readers the Dutch page. Press the shop button, then shop as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.
