Shopping at ECTIVE: shipping costs by country, withdrawal and cashback
ECTIVE is a German brand for batteries, chargers, inverters and solar equipment for campers, boats and off-grid systems, sold through ective.de by batterium GmbH in Tamm near Stuttgart. Batteries are heavy and some count as dangerous goods, so shipping costs depend on weight and country far more than in a normal shop. We read the shipping page, the withdrawal page and the payment page in October 2026. This is what they say.
Where ECTIVE delivers
The shop delivers within Germany and to Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. For the rest of the EU the shipping page publishes a separate price table, so other EU countries are possible too. Dangerous goods and pallet shipments, which the shop calls special shipping, are different: to Austria they go up to 100 kg, and for any other country you have to call customer service on +49 7141 141 0870 first.
Readers in the UK, the US or other non-EU countries should ask the shop before ordering.
Shipping costs
Germany, standard shipping by order value:
- Up to 69.90 euros: shipping costs 5.40 euros with DPD or 6.50 euros with DHL.
- From 69.90 euros: shipping is free with DPD, or 0.99 euros with DHL.
- Special shipping (lead-acid batteries or pallets) costs 46 euros shipping below 69.90 euros and is free above.
The banner on the site says free shipping from 69 euros, while the table starts at 69.90. Trust the table and the cart.
Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg are priced by weight: 14.00 to 16.00 euros for up to 6 kg, 19.50 to 22.00 euros for up to 16 kg and 28.00 to 33.00 euros for up to 31.5 kg. Special shipping costs 83.30 euros. For the rest of the EU the shipping ranges are 14.00 to 23.00, 19.50 to 32.00 and 28.00 to 45.50 euros for the same weight classes, and special shipping is on request. The shop ships Monday to Friday and sends a tracking code by email. It does not publish a delivery time on this page.
Returns and withdrawal
ECTIVE gives 30 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, counted from the day you receive the last item. You declare the withdrawal in writing or by email, and a sample form is provided. After that you have 14 days to send the goods back. The shop refunds all payments, including standard shipping, within 14 days after it receives your declaration, using the original payment method. It may wait until the goods are back.
You pay for the return shipping. The price list is:
- Germany: 9.90 euros shipping for a normal parcel, up to 59.90 euros for dangerous goods or pallets.
- Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg: 14.90 euros shipping for a normal parcel, up to 79.90 euros for a pallet.
- Rest of the EU: 19.90 euros shipping up to 5 kg, 26.90 up to 15 kg and 34.90 up to 30 kg.

Payment
The payment page lists PayPal, direct debit through PayPal, Visa and Mastercard (billing and delivery address must match), purchase on account through PayPal with 30 days to pay, and prepayment by bank transfer. A transfer takes two to four working days to arrive.
Using cashback
Open the ECTIVE page at daily cashback to see the current rate (up to 6.5%) and the offers we checked, with the date of the last check. Press the shop button, then order and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed after ECTIVE has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.
Practical tips
- A battery order can fall into special shipping, so check the cart total before you pay.
- Return shipping for a pallet can cost more than a small accessory, so check what you need before ordering a heavy item.
- Pause your ad blocker and finish the order in one visit to keep the cashback click.
