Shopping at Direct-Running: shipping by country, delivery time, returns and cashback

Direct-Running is a Dutch online shop for running shoes, trail and hiking gear, sportswear and nutrition. It belongs to the French group around Spacefoot, and customer service is based in France. It ships to a long list of European countries, and the delivery fee depends heavily on where you live.

Delivery countries and shipping fees

Pickup points are cheaper in several countries, for example 6.99 EUR shipping to a Mondial Relay point in the Netherlands and 7.49 EUR shipping to a bpost point in Belgium. Further destinations include Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland and Luxembourg. A group of countries in the Balkans, the Baltics, plus Iceland, Gibraltar and Turkey are listed at a flat 25.99 EUR shipping. The page names no threshold for free shipping, so the basket total before payment is what counts. Prices are shown in euros.

Processing and delivery time

The order cut-off is 15:00 Central European Time. Processing takes 1 to 2 working days and delivery then takes 2 to 6 working days. Each product page shows its own delivery estimate right below the add-to-basket button, and it changes when you pick another size. Heavy or bulky items can carry extra delivery costs. In France there is also next-day Chronopost delivery for orders placed Monday to Thursday before 15:00.

Returns within 30 days

You have 30 days from receipt to start a return, either from your account or through the return link for the order. Items must come back in the original packaging with the label intact and not soiled. Personalised products, such as printed football shirts or skis with bindings fitted, cannot be returned or exchanged. Once the request is accepted you have 15 days to send the parcel to the return address in France. You pay the return postage yourself unless the item is faulty or not as ordered, in which case customer service sends a prepaid label after checking. If you are offered a return label, its price is shown beforehand and can be deducted from your refund.

Refunds follow within 14 days. You can choose the original payment method or a store credit that is valid for 12 months. To swap a size or colour, return the item and place a new order.

Payment

The payment page lists iDEAL, bank card, Apple Pay, PayPal and bank transfer (minimum order 300 EUR). Some methods depend on your billing country, and the checkout shows what you can use.

Cashback through daily cashback

Direct-Running has shop pages at daily cashback for several markets. Press the button to the shop and order as normal. Your cashback (up to 2.5%) first shows as pending and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order. A returned item reduces it again.
