Reolink vs Eufy: Which Brand Is the Better Choice?

· 2026-10-10

Reolink vs Eufy: Which Brand Is the Better Choice? For security cameras the big question is where your recordings live and what you pay after the purchase. Both brands let you store video inside the camera or a base unit, so a monthly plan is not the starting point. We lean towards Reolink: it is listed with us, it names a warranty of two years plus six months on registration, and its cloud is an optional extra. Eufy sells through the Anker store, with a 30-day money-back route. Prices differ by model and week. Status October 2026.

Shop pages

Reolink is on our list. Our guide Shopping at Reolink: shipping, returns, cashback explains the order step by step, and the German shop page Reolink at daily cashback carries the current rate. Eufy has no page of its own with us, but its products turn up as offers on the German page of its seller, Anker at daily cashback.

Where the video is kept

Reolink points to the microSD card in the camera as the place footage is saved, and it offers Reolink Cloud as a separate service. Its cloud page describes motion-triggered recordings that stay available if a camera is stolen or the card breaks, stored with Amazon Web Services and encrypted. Reolink also sells 4G cameras with a dedicated data service for sites without Wi-Fi, and PoE cameras with recorders.

Eufy describes cameras with built-in storage of 32 GB for its eufyCam S4, which you can expand with a microSD card up to 256 GB. Together with a HomeBase S380, storage grows to 16 TB, and it lists smart video search as free. Whether you also want a cloud plan for either brand is something you decide in the store or the app before you pay, so read the plan terms there.

Warranty and returns

Reolink gives two years on its standard products and three on the Professional series. Register a new product and you receive six more months. Refunds are possible within 30 days of delivery when you bought in the official store. For personal reasons you pay the return shipping, for a defect on arrival Reolink does. Eufy names 12 months for security products, and 36 months for its PoE cameras and recorders. Undamaged products can go back within 30 days of purchase, accessories and packaging included, with return shipping on you if you changed your mind.

Remember your statutory rights as a buyer in the EU. They exist next to any brand warranty.

Shipping from Reolink

Reolink delivers free to most countries from its official store. Orders for Germany ship from a German warehouse in 2 to 4 business days. For other EU countries it quotes 3 to 10 business days. For shipments from outside the EU, duties and VAT can be the buyer's job, but for EU destinations Reolink states that it takes care of customs duties.

Cashback in practice

Start from the shop page, finish in one session, and your entry shows as pending until the shop confirms it. The calculation uses the net value of the order once vouchers are deducted, and taxes stay out. Stick to codes printed on the shop page. Refunds wipe out the reward, a point to remember for cameras you might send back over mounting or Wi-Fi range.

Who should pick what

Homeowners who want footage in their own hands: both brands offer storage on site. Count how many cameras you need and whether you want a recorder or base unit.

Remote sites: a plot or a holiday home without Wi-Fi can use a Reolink 4G camera with the data service, as long as there is cellular coverage.

Smart home users: Eufy fits into an Anker-style ecosystem with HomeBase and doorbells. Compare the bundles on the seller page.

What we recommend

Buy Reolink through its shop page if you want cashback on a camera system. Reolink is the one on our list, the warranty reaches 30 months with registration, and the shipping terms are laid out. Eufy remains a strong rival worth pricing for the same number of cameras. The final amount and the storage you really need decide which costs less.
