Where cashback exists

We list Laco as a shop, you find it at Laco at daily cashback. You start there, order in one session and see the credit as pending in your free account first. The shop page shows the current rate. Stowa is not one of our partner shops, so ordering there does not pay cashback via our site.

Movements and build

Laco names Miyota, ETA and Sellita movements in its FAQ, fine-regulated at the Pforzheim workshop. On several models you can order the movement in the higher Top grade. Rates run from 0 to plus 25 seconds a day on the Miyota movements to 0 to plus 8 seconds on the Top grade, according to the shop.

Stowa says it fits Sellita SW200 and SW210 as well as Unitas 6498 and Peseux 7001. All models have sapphire crystal on both sides, only Prodiver and Partitio Automatik come with a solid case back. For the SW200 and SW210 Stowa names regulation to 0 to plus 10 seconds a day.

Shipping and delivery time

Laco delivers within Germany with no shipping charge, while shipping one watch to Austria costs 24.90 €. According to the shop, delivery takes 3 to 4 days in Germany. Stowa builds from the moment of order, so the delivery time is listed per model in the shop. Stowa shows the shipping costs after you pick the country.

Returns, guarantee and cashback

Both brands apply the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, and you pay the return postage. Stowa writes in its FAQ that the money comes back after checking the unworn watch, minus shipping costs. Laco does not take back or exchange personalised watches, for example with engraving or a movement upgrade.

For your cashback this means: a return deducts the credit. If you order a watch with engraving, read the confirmation email carefully, because afterwards a return is no longer possible. Laco watches carry a 24-month guarantee excluding glass breakage, battery and outside tampering. Stowa states the statutory 2-year guarantee for new watches.

Payment

Laco names prepayment, credit card, invoice, instalments and direct debit through Klarna, Amazon Pay, and PayPal with card, SEPA direct debit and instalments. Stowa names PayPal, credit card through PayPal, transfer by prepayment and, if you visit the workshop, cash.

Service after purchase

Stowa says it repairs all models built after 1996, only at its workshop in Pforzheim. The movement overhaul is offered in the shop from 346.97 €, depending on the model up to 420.79 €, and you arrange shipping of the watch yourself. Guarantee cases are booked there free of charge. Laco advises having water resistance checked about once a year.
