Kaspersky vs Bitdefender: Which Security Suite Is Worth It? Both makers sell tiered plans and name a 30-day refund window, so the real question is what you want next to the antivirus. We recommend Kaspersky: Standard, Plus and Premium are clearly stepped, AI-powered scam protection is part of all three according to the maker, and Premium bundles a VPN, a password manager and round-the-clock remote help. Cashback at both makers
Kaspersky has Kaspersky at daily cashback, which leads to the UK shop. Bitdefender has Bitdefender at daily cashback, which leads to bitdefender.de, the German shop. The current rate sits on each page, not in this article, because it follows the vendors' promotions. You can collect cashback with either, so the reward need not decide between them.

How the purchase runs
Open the shop page first and order in the same browser session. Pause the ad blocker for that visit and do not hop to other deal sites in between. It then shows up in your account as open at first. When the maker has confirmed it, it becomes payable, for example by PayPal.
Read the notes on the shop pages: some offers treat new customers, existing customers and renewals differently. If you are only renewing a subscription, check beforehand whether the order counts at all.
The plans at a glance
Kaspersky shows three tiers. Standard Antivirus lists 12 protection features, Plus Internet Security 17 and Premium Total Security 24. They cover viruses, phishing and ransomware, a firewall and protection when paying online. Premium adds a fast VPN without a data cap, a password manager, identity protection and remote IT help around the clock. Kaspersky Safe Kids comes free for one year with Premium. The plan runs on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
Bitdefender names Total Security, Premium Security, Ultimate Security and Ultimate Security Plus. An individual plan covers one person with up to 5 devices, the family plan 5 people with up to 25 devices. Premium Security brings unlimited VPN traffic, scam protection for email, chat and SMS, and email protection for two addresses. Ultimate Security adds continuous dark web monitoring.
Refunds and renewal
Kaspersky promises a full refund within 30 days of a new plan if you are not satisfied. Bitdefender names 30 days too. You can also ask Bitdefender for a refund at [email protected] if an automatic renewal caught you out, again within 30 days of the renewal date.
Bitdefender notes that the intro price applies to the first year and the renewal price is charged afterwards. It sends an email before billing, and you cancel in Bitdefender Central. Read the small print of both before you pick a multi-year plan.
For your cashback: after a refund, cancellation or chargeback it can be declined or reversed. If you use the 30 days to try the product, do not count on the cashback.

Families with many devices: The Bitdefender family plan names room for 5 people and 25 devices. Count how many devices you really use.
