BookSeats: event tickets with travel, buyer guarantee and cashback
BookSeats is a platform that sells event tickets together with flights and hotels, mostly for sports, music and festivals. Because nothing is shipped, the questions that matter are different: what protects your tickets, what happens if an event is cancelled, how you pay and how a trip with several events works. This guide collects what the BookSeats site says about these points.
What you can book
BookSeats connects to ticketing and travel suppliers and compares options. You pick an event, such as a game from the NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, a college sport or the PGA Tour, or a festival, and then add flights and a hotel. The site advertises a bundle discount of more than 30 percent compared with booking tickets, flights and hotels separately. You can change the seating, extend the hotel stay or move your travel dates around the event.
Pricing and payment
The site promises that all prices, taxes and fees are shown before you finish the booking, and that the checkout total is what you pay. Payment can be split into smaller instalments through Affirm. Which country and currency options you see are shown during checkout, so check them before you start if you live outside the United States.
The Buyer Guarantee
This is the core of the service. According to the guarantee page:
- You are not charged until the ticket seller confirms your order.
- Your tickets arrive in time for the event and are authentic and valid for entry.
- You are refunded if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled.
- If an event moves to a new date, the original tickets stay valid for it.
If tickets for a confirmed order have not arrived before the event, BookSeats tries to find them. If that fails, it looks for comparable seats or refunds you in full. To make a claim, contact customer service by phone or email within 3 calendar days after the event if the venue does not honour the tickets. For a cancelled event with hard copy tickets, you send them back within 14 days before the refund. BookSeats decides each claim case by case.
Trips with several events
Tickets for several events must be bought in separate transactions, because the ticketing partners require it. The suggested order is one event ticket together with your full flight and hotel dates first, then the other tickets afterwards.
Flights and hotels
On the travel pages the site says that flights, hotels and cars are booked in the same search and result in one confirmation. Every rate shows whether it is refundable before you pay. For changes after booking, use the contact form on the site, where a representative gets in touch.

Using cashback
Open the BookSeats page at daily cashback, where the current rate (2.5%) is listed. Press the shop button, then book and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the booking has been approved. A cancelled or refunded booking is deducted.
