Shopping at Ribble Cycles: UK and international delivery, returns fees and cashback
Ribble Cycles is a British bike maker that builds road, gravel, e-bikes and more to order and sells them online. Because most bikes are assembled after you order, and because delivery abroad runs through a partner, the rules differ depending on where you live. This guide covers dispatch times, what delivery costs, how international orders work and what you pay when you send a bike back.
Delivery inside the UK
Every bike is hand-built to order. Most are ready for dispatch within 5 to 10 working days, and the checkout shows an estimated dispatch window. After dispatch, bikes take up to 3 working days to arrive and accessories up to 2. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day enter the build queue the same day. On selected models a limited number of Express Build slots promise shipping within 48 hours.
For parts and accessories, standard untracked delivery starts at £5 and tracked delivery at £7, and aerosols or flammables go tracked only, also at £7.
Ordering from outside the UK
Ribble says it ships to a wide range of destinations. International orders run through its partner ESW, which works with local couriers. Pick your country and currency with the flag at the top right of the site, add items and you are sent to the ESW checkout, where you see the delivery options for your country. Orders for abroad have to be placed on the correct regional site, otherwise they may be cancelled and refunded.
- Bikes: free delivery on all bikes
- Parts and accessories: delivery fees vary by location and are calculated at checkout
- Delivery times: Europe 3 to 7 working days, rest of the world 6 to 12 working days
- Taxes and duties: included in the price you see, so no import charges at the door
For US orders, state and local sales tax is added at checkout and is not shown in the basket total. If a parcel is returned to the sender, Ribble cannot resend it. The order is refunded and you place a new one if you still want the items.

Returns and the 30-day test ride
UK customers can return or exchange a bike within 30 days of delivery. The bike must be clean, in the original box, assembled as delivered and only lightly used. Custom Colour, limited edition, ex-demo, clearance and team models are excluded, as are bikes bought through finance or Cycle to Work after the cooling-off period.
The fees are worth knowing in advance. A bike return costs £130 in administration, which covers the original delivery, collection and processing, and that amount is deducted from your refund. A frame size exchange also costs £130 and a handlebar change £75 to £100, while a stem change costs £50. Dirty bikes carry a £30 cleaning fee, and replacement packaging adds another £30.
Refunds are paid within 14 days of Ribble receiving and inspecting the item, to your original payment method. Accessories that are unused and in the original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Finance orders have a 14-day cooling-off period. If the bike arrives damaged or faulty, Ribble covers return shipping and inspection.
International returns
Outside the UK, returns are managed through ESW. Contact customer service first and they arrange it for you. Return shipping, customs charges and local taxes are yours to pay, and the refund excludes customs duties, local taxes and shipping costs. The UK 30-day test ride does not apply abroad.
Warranty
Frames and forks bought from February 2025 carry a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser against manufacturing defects. Ribble and LEVEL branded components have 2 years, other brands follow the manufacturer's warranty.
Using cashback
Open the Ribble Cycles page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 1%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button, then order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once Ribble has reported the order, normally after the return window. A returned bike reduces the amount for that item.
Practical tips
- Choose your country before you fill the basket, so the right prices, taxes and delivery options apply.
- Keep other cashback and voucher sites closed while you shop, since a later click can replace the first one.
- A code from an outside source can cost you the cashback. Current offers are on the shop page with us.
