Buying a mattress at Layla Sleep: trial period, returns, warranty and cashback
Layla Sleep sells memory foam and hybrid mattresses, pillows, toppers, bases and bedding. A mattress is a purchase you only judge after a few weeks at home, so the trial and return rules matter more here than the price tag. This guide sums up what the shop's returns page, terms and warranty page say, plus what to know if you live outside the lower 48 US states.
Delivery and where it goes
Layla is a US shop and its terms are written for US customers. The returns page mentions that shipping fees for Alaska, Hawaii and Canada are not refundable, and the terms note that the pickup service for opened returns is not provided in Canada. The cost and delivery time for your address are shown in the cart. If you are outside North America, ask the shop before you order whether your address is served.
The risk passes to you once the carrier has the parcel. If the carrier shows an order as delivered but you did not receive it, or it arrived damaged, you file a claim by emailing customer support. Visible shipping damage has to be reported within 14 days of receipt, with photos. A claim can take up to 30 days to complete.
The trial period
Layla offers a 120 night trial on its mattresses, but you must keep the mattress for 30 days before you start a return. On the returns page the memory foam mattress has a return window that opens 4 weeks after delivery and runs up to 120 nights. For a mattress topper the window opens after 2 weeks and closes after 30 nights. Only one return or exchange is allowed per address, and an exchanged or upgraded mattress cannot be returned later.
How a return works
- Unopened box: Layla schedules a pickup or gives you a return shipping label to use at a FedEx location. Packaged returns go back by FedEx only.
- Opened box: Layla tries to arrange a pickup through a partner, or asks you to donate the product and send proof.
- You get a refund to the original payment method. The shop says the full purchase price comes back with no fees deducted, apart from the shipping fees mentioned above.
- A return or donation has to be completed within 14 days of entering the claim.
Flash Deal items are final sale and cannot be returned. If you return a product that came with a free promotional item, that item must go back too, or its value is held back from the refund. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed.
Warranty
The warranty page lists the memory foam mattress with a lifetime warranty, the hybrid mattress and The Essential with 10 years, toppers and pillows with 5 years, and bed frames with 10 years. Photos of the law tag are needed to process a claim.

Cashback
Open the Layla Sleep page at daily cashback, where current offers are listed and checked every day, and the cashback rate is 2.5%. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as normal. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once Layla has reported the order, which for a mattress is after the trial. A returned product reduces the amount for that item.
