Shopping at Karaca Germany: delivery area, returns and cashback
Karaca sells tableware, cookware, small kitchen appliances, home textiles and rugs. The German online shop at karaca.com.de is run by Karaca Porzellan Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf and is written in German. This guide explains who can order there, what shipping and returns look like, and how cashback fits in.
Delivery area
According to the terms and conditions, the offers are aimed at consumers with a delivery address in Germany. Some bulky items can have further restrictions on the delivery location, and the product page shows them. If your address is in the UK, the US or another EU country, this shop is therefore not the one to use, even though daily cashback lists the Karaca programme for several markets.
Shipping cost and free shipping
The shop advertises free shipping for purchases of €99 or more. Below that, the terms say shipping charges vary by delivery method and by the kind of article, and that extra charges can apply to bulky goods. The exact shipping cost is shown during checkout, before you commit to the order.
Delivery time
Delivery takes as many working days as the article page states, counted Monday to Saturday and excluding public holidays in Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia. The clock starts after payment is received for prepayment, or after the contract is concluded for online payment, card payment, SEPA direct debit or purchase on invoice. If you order several products, the delivery times in your basket decide, and Karaca may send partial deliveries.
Returns
You have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. On top of that, Karaca offers a voluntary return guarantee, which makes 30 days in total. It applies to standard products that are unused, undamaged and in the original packaging with labels. The parcel must reach the shop within 30 days of delivery. The refund follows within 14 working days after the goods arrive, on the original payment method and without fees.
Return shipping is deducted from the refund. The terms list €6.99 for returns from Germany, €6.99 from the Netherlands and €9.99 from France, charged per return package. If the product is faulty or not what you ordered, the shop pays and nothing is deducted. The help pages describe a return label that you create in your account under My Orders, using the Easy Return option. Items bought online cannot be returned in a Karaca store.
Payment, warranty and contact
The terms mention prepayment, SEPA direct debit, purchase on invoice with 14 days to pay, credit card and PayPal. The legal warranty for defects is two years from delivery. Using cashback
Open the Karaca page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3.5%) is listed next to the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once Karaca has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback for that item.
Practical tips
- A basket of €90 can be worth topping up with a small item, since free shipping starts at €99. Keep in mind that returns can pull the order back under that figure.
- Plan for the return fee when you order a low-priced item, because it is withheld from the refund.
- Keep labels and original packaging intact until you are sure.
- Finish the order in one visit and keep other cashback and voucher sites closed, since a later click can replace the first.
