Shopping at EMP Spain: delivery area, shipping cost and returns
EMP is a merchandise shop for music, film, TV and gaming fans, selling band shirts, alternative clothing, collectibles and more. The Spanish store at emp-online.es is built for addresses in Spain, with Spanish-language service, and it delivers through Correos. If you are outside Spain this matters a lot, so here is what the shop's help pages say about delivery, returns and payment.
Where EMP delivers from this store
You can have an order sent to any address within the national territory, with the exception of the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. You may enter a different delivery address and recipient name during checkout or save them in your account. The help pages do not offer delivery abroad from the Spanish store, so a customer in another country should use the shop that belongs to that country. The Spanish page even links to a separate EMP store for customers from Finland.
Shipping cost
Shipping costs 6.49 euros whatever the size or weight of the parcel. Members of the Backstage Club get free shipping on all orders. If you choose cash on delivery, an extra 3 euros handling fee is charged. All prices on the site include VAT, but not transport.
Delivery
When every item is shown as in stock and you pay by bank card, PayPal or cash on delivery, the order confirmation gives a clearly defined delivery date, which EMP tries to meet. Delays can happen at peak times or with stock problems. Packages are delivered by Correos, and when your parcel is handed over to the carrier you receive an email with a tracking link.
Orders go into packing right after checkout, so the shop cannot change them afterwards, neither the address nor the payment method nor the content. Several orders cannot be merged either. The only possibility is to contact EMP by chat or email once the order is registered with Correos and shows as "En camino", and the request is then passed on to Correos. If a parcel comes back to EMP, for example because of a wrong address or because it was not collected at the post office in time, the refund is made once EMP receives it. A returned parcel is not sent out again, so you need a new order.
Returns
You have 30 days from receiving the order to return an item. Backstage Club members have up to 100 days. You register the return in the online returns portal with your order number and the postcode of the delivery address, select the items, and put the generated return sheet into the parcel. You take it to any Correos office and pay the postage yourself, preferably by ordinary mail. Parcels sent with postage due are not accepted. The destination is the EMP returns office in Riudellots de la Selva (Girona).
- If an item is defective or wrong, put the Correos receipt in the box and EMP refunds the standard shipping cost of the return.
- EMP does not do exchanges. You return the item and place a new order.
- The refund goes to the original payment method, usually 3 to 5 working days after the return is confirmed. EMP allows itself up to 15 working days. Bank transfer payments need your bank details.
- A gift card used in the purchase is reloaded.
For damaged items, contact customer service through the chat with your order number, the article number and two or three clear photos.
Payment methods
The payment help page lists Visa and Mastercard cards, PayPal, Klarna (instant bank transfer, pay in three instalments and pay in 30 days if Klarna approves it), Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer in advance and cash on delivery with Correos. A bank transfer can take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. It is not possible to change the payment method after ordering. For help you can write to [email protected].

Using cashback
Open the EMP page at daily cashback, where you find the current rate (up to 3.5%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then order and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once EMP has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback by its share.
Tips
- Check your size before ordering, since there are no exchanges. A return means a new order.
- Enter the delivery address carefully, because it cannot be changed once the order is being packed.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker, because either can lose the cashback click.
