Shopping at ABCCANOPY: shipping, custom canopies, 30-day returns and cashback
ABCCANOPY sells pop-up canopies, tents and umbrellas, and also makes custom printed canopies. It ships from a warehouse in California to the United States and Canada. Delivery times differ by region, and custom orders follow their own, stricter rules. Here is what the shop states about shipping, returns and the one-year guarantee.
Where it ships and what it costs
The shop advertises free shipping on orders of $99 or more within the US and Canada, except Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Guam. The FAQ adds that ABCCANOPY pays for standard delivery. If you need a product urgently, expedited delivery is offered, and extra fees may apply. Standard delivery is listed with USPS and similar services, and expedited with FedEx, UPS and DHL.
Processing and delivery time
A standard order usually ships within 1 business day. After that the shop gives transit times for ground orders:
- West Coast: about 3 to 4 business days
- Midwest: about 3 to 5 business days
- East Coast: about 4 to 5 business days
- Freight deliveries: about 2 to 7 business days
Carriers named on the shipping page are UPS, USPS, FedEx and OnTrac. Most items ship from the California warehouse. If a product is out of stock in both the warehouse and with Amazon, the shop ships it from an overseas factory, which is why some orders take 5 to 7 working days.
Custom canopies
Custom printed canopies ship within about 5 business days after the order. Transit is then 6 to 8 business days to the West Coast, 7 to 9 to the Midwest and 8 to 13 to the East Coast, and 6 to 13 for freight. They go by FedEx. Customized products cannot be returned or exchanged. Once production has started an order cannot be cancelled any more, and before production starts the shop charges a cancellation fee of 20 percent.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from receipt to return a standard item. The shop accepts defective items, lost parcels, items damaged on arrival and wrong items, and pays the return cost in those cases. It does not accept returns for a changed mind, late arrival or an item that looks different from the picture, and then you pay all return shipping. Refunds are only granted for unused, unopened items in the original packaging.
First email [email protected] and ask for an RMA number. Returns arriving without an approved RMA number are refused. Send your name, zip code, the reason and the items, with pictures. The shop recommends a tracked courier and asks for 5 to 7 business days to process a return. Exchanges also need to arrive within 30 days. After 30 days, problems go through the manufacturer's warranty. Every product has a one-year guarantee.

In your free account the cashback first shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return period. A returned item reduces the cashback for it.
