Sending luggage with Sinmaletas: countries, customs and cashback
Sinmaletas, run by Multiboxes S.L. in Granollers near Barcelona, is a door-to-door service for luggage, boxes and sports gear. A courier collects your suitcases at the address you give and delivers them to your destination, so you do not carry them through the airport. It is a service, not a shop with a basket of goods, so the questions that matter are which countries it serves, how quickly it gets there, what happens at customs and what a cancellation costs.
Which countries does Sinmaletas serve?
The destination overview lists more than 40 countries. Among them are Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Nordic countries and most of Eastern Europe, plus the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. Shipments between two countries where Spain is neither origin nor destination are mostly available online too, and otherwise the team prepares a quote within 24 working hours. The website is in Spanish with an English version.
Price, pickup and delivery
You enter origin and destination in the calculator, choose luggage or boxes, and pick a standard, express or flexible shipment. The online quote does not change at checkout unless you add extras such as a pickup at a fixed time, extra protection or packaging. There is no weight limit per shipment in total, although the shop advises keeping parcels manageable, and shipments of more than 15 packages go through a separate quote.

Delivery dates are estimates. Labels arrive by email, and 24 hours after pickup you can follow the parcel under "Localiza tu envío". Someone has to sign for the delivery at the destination, but it does not have to be you.
Customs outside the EU
Within the EU an ID card or passport is enough, and the Germany page lists no extra documents. For destinations such as Switzerland, Norway, the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Singapore and the Gulf states, you receive a customs document by email after booking and send it back filled in. Transit times cannot be guaranteed there because customs may hold and inspect the parcel. Food, tobacco, money, jewellery, fragile items, dangerous goods, plants and medicines are excluded from shipments.
Payment, changes and cancellation
You pay before the service, by card, by bank transfer or by PayPal, which adds a payment fee. Extra packages can be added until 24 hours before pickup. If labels were already sent, a change costs 10 euros extra, plus the proportional shipping price for the added luggage. Cancel before the original pickup date and you get a full refund. On the pickup day or later, the company can retain up to 25 percent of the total paid, depending on the work already done. Refunds go to the original payment method within ten working days.
Insurance and claims
Every shipment is covered by the transport liability rules (L.O.T.T. and the CMR convention), with variable compensation. For laptops, instruments and similar items the shop recommends the additional Safe Value protection. Damage that is not visible from outside must be reported within 7 working days of delivery. Visible damage should be noted on the carrier's delivery slip at once.
Cashback at Sinmaletas
The Sinmaletas page at daily cashback shows the current rate (up to 6%) and the offers with the date of the last check. Press the shop button, then book as usual. In your free account the cashback is first open and becomes confirmed once Sinmaletas has reported the booking. If you cancel and get a refund, the amount for that booking is deducted.
Practical tips
- Book pickup at least two working days before your flight, so there is room if a driver is late.
- Check the exact weight, because a gap of more than 10 kg found in the carrier's audit can be billed afterwards.
- Finish in one visit and pause your ad blocker, so the click is not lost.
