simpleshow: plans, payment, cancellation and cashback
simpleshow is a video maker that turns a script into an animated explainer video. It now also offers AI avatars, and it belongs to the D-ID group. It is an online service, so there is no delivery. What matters are the plans, the term, how to cancel and how to pay.
What you can make and in which languages
You write or paste your text, and the tool builds the visuals, animation and timing automatically. You choose between illustration styles, an AI avatar or a mix. The plans page says you can create and translate videos in more than 40 languages. The shop has an English site and a German one at simpleshow.com/de. The cashback offer we list is for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The plans
| Plan | Who it is for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Trying it out | 3 video renderings per month, 2 avatars, share by video link, watermark stays |
| Business | Marketing and customer communication | Commercial use, watermark removal, own voiceover |
| Pro | Creative pros and agencies | Unlimited renderings, own watermark, all avatars, HD and SCORM download, passing videos to clients |
| Classroom | Schools and universities | Up to 50 students, free for schools and universities |
| Enterprise | Large companies | Team collaboration, premium support, payment by invoice |
Prices are shown including VAT on the plans page. The free plan has no time limit. The shop says it wants anyone to be able to make videos, and in return the simpleshow logo stays in the corner of the video. The Classroom plan is free, but you must send proof that you are a pupil, student, teacher or professor.
Paying and the term
Business and Pro can be paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or by PayPal. PayPal works only for annual subscriptions. Enterprise customers pay by invoice. A monthly subscription is charged every month until you cancel, and an annual one is charged once a year until you cancel. The annual plan comes with a discount compared with paying monthly.
Cancelling
You cancel by switching to the free plan, either in your settings or with the button at the bottom of the settings page. The paid plan then runs until the end of the current month or year. If you do nothing, the contract is extended by another month or year, depending on the billing rate you chose. If you move to a more expensive plan during the term, the older subscription ends and the shop refunds the remaining amount for it.
After you cancel, you keep access to your finished videos and may still use them. You can no longer edit videos made on the paid plan, but they become editable again if you subscribe later. If you need only one video, the shop suggests a monthly plan that you cancel after finishing.
Contact
You can write to [email protected] or use the contact form on the site. Enterprise customers get a dedicated contact and telephone support.
Cashback with simpleshow
Open the simpleshow page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to $19.62) and the offers are listed, and we check them daily. Press the shop button there, then sign up and pay on the site as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once simpleshow has reported the order. If you cancel or are refunded, the cashback for that order can be reduced.
Practical tips
- Start with the free plan to see whether the tool suits you, then upgrade only for what you need.
- Decide on monthly or annual billing before paying, because PayPal is limited to annual plans.
- Switch to the free plan before the term ends if you do not want another month or year.
- Close other cashback and voucher sites while you sign up, as a later click can replace the first one.
