Ownkoti: worldwide shipping, delivery times and the 14-day return
Ownkoti is an American online shop for bedding, quilts, blankets and sheets. It ships to almost every country, but the list of excluded places is long, delivery takes a while and the return rules are strict about sale items. This guide pulls the main points from the shipping, refund and payment pages.
Where Ownkoti ships
The shop delivers to almost every country in the world, except places where shipping restrictions apply. The excluded list includes Brazil, India, Indonesia, China, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, Egypt, Peru, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Ukraine, Belarus and Qatar, and 8 of the 62 US states. Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and Canada are not on it. Your address is checked at checkout.
Shipping cost and free shipping
Orders over $89 ship free. Below that, standard shipping costs $9. Express shipping is also offered, and its price appears at checkout. Taxes, discounts and shipping are all calculated there.
Processing and delivery time
Total delivery time is processing time plus shipping time, not counting customs delays, weekends or holidays. Items marked Ships in 24 hours are in stock and leave on the next business day. Other items need 3 to 8 business days for processing. Standard shipping then takes 10 to 22 business days, express shipping 6 to 8 business days. For South America and Russia the shop warns that delivery can take more than a month because of transport and customs.
You receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once the parcel leaves the warehouse. The tracking can take 1 to 2 business days to update, and a multi-item order may arrive in several packages. On the delivery day you get an SMS. If a parcel has not arrived 60 days after shipping, contact the shop, which then either resends the order or refunds it in full.

Customs and import duties
Each country has its own customs rules. The shop says that, in rare cases, import duties or taxes are charged and that the customer pays them. Contact your local customs office if you want to know more before ordering.
Returns and refunds
You have 14 days from receipt to change your mind and return an item. Contact the shop by email first and attach photos if the item is faulty or damaged. Items must be unused, undamaged and in the original packaging, and the parcel should include your name, phone number, address and proof of purchase. Gift cards cannot be returned, and only regular priced items are refunded, sale items are not.
The buyer pays the return shipping, and the shop deducts the cost from the refund. The original shipping costs are not refunded. After the return arrives and is inspected, an approved refund goes back to the original payment method within one week. Replacements are only offered for defective or damaged items. For a return parcel worth more than $75, the shop recommends a trackable shipping service or insurance.
Payment
You can pay by credit or debit card or with PayPal, and PayPal also works without an account through the card option. Klarna is available too and splits a purchase into 4 interest-free installments, up to a maximum spend of $2500. Wait for the thank you page after paying, otherwise the order can count as an abandoned checkout.
Cashback
Open the Ownkoti page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Ownkoti has reported the order. A returned item is deducted from the amount. Take only the offers shown on that page, because a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
