Minimal water bottles: shipping to Canada, the US and abroad, returns
Minimal makes insulated bottles, tumblers and mugs, sold at minimalbottle.com and through retailers in Canada and the United States. The online shop quotes prices in Canadian and US dollars and ships beyond North America as well. The rules differ between the home markets and international orders, so they are worth reading before you pay.
Shipping within Canada and the US
Orders go out with Canada Post, UPS, USPS, FedEx and other carriers. Shipping is free on orders over 79 $. The shop aims to ship within 1 to 2 business days, and the tracking number comes in the "Shipped" email. The FAQ is more specific on processing: 1 to 3 business days for non-customised products, and 1 to 4 weeks for customised ones. Large quantity orders take 4 to 10 weeks. Most shipments need an extra 1 to 7 business days to arrive.
International orders
For other countries the shop says it ships to most countries. It does not publish a rate table. Add the items to your cart, go to checkout and pick your country from the dropdown to see the shipping quote. If your country is not listed, you can contact the shop and it will help. International express courier delivery typically takes 10 to 20 business days.
Import duties and taxes
Each country has its own import taxes, duties and regulations, and the shop states that these are the customer's responsibility. Shipping fees are not refundable. Alternative shipping methods exist on request, but with uninsured shipping the shop is not responsible for loss or damage.

Returns and exchanges
Refunds and exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery. You email the shop first to get a Return Tracking number, and without an approved number nothing is accepted. Items have to come back unused and in the original condition. You pay all return shipping, plus any duties or taxes on the return. Inbound and outbound shipping, duties, taxes and payment processing fees are deducted from the refund. Sale items and customised products are final sale.
If an item arrives damaged or defective, Minimal replaces it at no cost. Report the damage within 24 hours of receiving the shipment and take photos of the original box, so the shop can file a claim with the carrier.
Warranty
Every product carries a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects, for example broken or leaking caps, a lost vacuum or a product damaged in shipping. Dents, scratches and chips from drops are not covered. A replacement is the same size and colour, or a similar one of at least equal value.
Cashback with daily cashback
Open the Minimal page at daily cashback, where current offers are listed and checked every day. Press the shop button and order as usual. Your cashback (4%) first shows as open in your free account and turns confirmed after Minimal has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback for it.
Tips for international buyers
- Check the shipping quote at checkout before you decide, because the shop does not list rates for other countries.
- Ask the shop about duties for your country before you order, since they come on top of the shipping fee.
- Remember that you pay return shipping and duties, so a return from abroad gets expensive.
- Keep other cashback or voucher tabs closed while you shop, because a later click can replace the first one.
