Abraham Hostels and Tours: where it operates, cancellation and cashback
Abraham runs hostels in Israel and the Philippines and sells tours in Israel, Jordan and the Philippines. Since this is a booking service and not a parcel shop, the points that matter are where you can stay, how cancellation works, what the terms say about payment and group bookings, and which house rules affect your trip.
Where Abraham operates
The site lists three stays: Abraham Tel Aviv at 21 Levontin Street, Abraham Eilat, and Abraham Bohol in the Philippines. Tours are sorted into three regions. Israel tours include Masada and the Dead Sea, a Jerusalem city tour and a Judean Desert jeep tour. Jordan and Petra tours start from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and run two or three days, and there is a cross-border transfer to Amman. In the Philippines the list includes Bohol with the Chocolate Hills, Manila, El Nido, Coron and Siargao. The site also rents meeting rooms and event space in Tel Aviv and Eilat.
Booking and payment
A contract is formed when the hostel confirms your reservation. Prices include applicable taxes, while Israeli customers have to add the statutory value added tax. The property may ask for a credit card guarantee when you book and may hold an amount before arrival. A non-refundable rate requires prepayment. For all other rates the total, minus any deposit, is due on arrival unless you agreed otherwise. Check-in follows the agreed window, and rooms must be vacated by the agreed departure time.
Cancellation and no-show
Cancel before the agreed cancellation period and you pay no fee. Inside that period the property may charge the price of the first night. Non-refundable rates are charged in full and cannot be changed or moved to another Abraham property. For 3 to 5 rooms you can cancel free of charge at least 72 hours before check-in, unless your rate says otherwise. If you do not show up or cancel too late, the first night is charged. Changes and cancellations go through the booking site where you reserved, and Abraham has a Change/Cancel Reservation page. Reservations made through agents follow the conditions of that agent.

Groups, stay limits and house rules
Bookings of more than five rooms or 15 or more guests fall under the group terms of the sales department, which may include a non-refundable deposit and a minimum stay. In any three-month period you can stay up to 21 days in a private room or 14 days in a shared room. Children under 18 are accepted only with a responsible adult. When you book a bed in a shared room, Abraham tries to put people from one booking in the same room but cannot guarantee it. At Tel Aviv, reception is open around the clock, there is free wifi, towels and sheets are free in dorms, and a self-service breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00. One dog up to 11 kg is allowed in select room types if the owner stays with it.
Club discount
Joining the Abraham One customer club is free. Members get a discount on standard-rate website bookings and on selected Abraham Tours. Check the club page for the current terms.
Using cashback
Open the Abraham page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button and make your booking in the same visit. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Abraham has reported the booking. A cancelled booking is deducted again. A code from another site can cost you the cashback, so close other voucher tabs before you click.
