ShipStation plans, free trial and cancellation, plus how to earn cashback
ShipStation, run by Auctane, is shipping software for online sellers: it pulls in orders from your stores and marketplaces, compares carrier rates, prints labels and sends tracking emails. It is a subscription service, so there is nothing to deliver to you. What matters is the price of the plan, how the free trial works, how you cancel and where you can use it. The details below are from ShipStation's own pricing and FAQ pages.
Plans and prices
There are three paid plans, and every one is priced by the number of shipments per month. On the US pricing page, shipping software for 50 shipments a month starts at $14.99 a month on Starter, $29.99 on Standard and $349.99 on Premium, and the monthly price rises with the shipment tier. Annual billing carries a 20% discount compared with paying monthly. The UK page also lists a Free plan with 50 shipments, one user and one store connection, and shows Starter from £10 a month.
| Plan | Users | Support |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 3 users, unlimited store connections | Email and chat |
| Standard | 10 users, API access, unlimited automation rules | Email, chat and phone |
| Premium | 15 users, advanced inventory and warehouse tools | Dedicated account management |
Free trial, billing and cancellation
ShipStation offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. If you sign up for the trial you are not charged unless you move to a paid plan, and the paid plan is billed at the end of the 30 days, one month ahead. You can cancel any time in the app under settings and your subscription plan, or by emailing the support team. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Separately, the ShipStation Promise says that if you are not satisfied for any reason within 90 days, you get a full refund.
Other costs
There is no extra shipping software fee beyond the subscription unless you add users or paid add-ons. You still pay for postage and insurance yourself. USPS prepaid postage can be topped up with auto-refill, and carriers such as FedEx or UPS bill you as before. Connecting more sales channels and your own carrier accounts costs nothing, with an exception for premium integrations and plans registered before 8 July 2025.
Where you can use it
The site has country versions for the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, and it says it ships to 195 countries. The partner programme behind our link covers customers in Australia, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, New Zealand and the United States. International shipping is available when you bring your own carrier account, and the feature list also names guaranteed prepaid duties and taxes for international shipments.
Using cashback
Open the ShipStation page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to $200) is shown beside the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then sign up as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed after the shop has reported your subscription. A cancelled or refunded plan reduces the amount.
Practical tips
- Pick your shipment tier by your busiest month, since the price follows the number of labels.
- Start with the trial and test your marketplace connections before you pay for a plan.
- Sign up in one visit and pause your ad blocker, and close other cashback or voucher sites.
