chili-shop24: shipping prices by country, payment, withdrawal and cashback
chili-shop24.de is a German online shop for chili products: dried chilies, hot sauces, spices, seeds and live plants. It is run by Femundus GmbH in Bad Dürkheim. The shop delivers beyond Germany, and the price depends on whether your country sits in the EU or outside it. Here is what the shop's shipping and payment page and its withdrawal notice say.
Countries and shipping prices
The shop lists 31 destinations: Germany, the EU member states, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom. Prices for private customers by DHL or Deutsche Post:

The shop sets no minimum order value. Orders consisting only of seeds can go as trackable small parcel on request, and that shipping costs 3.90 € in Germany and 4.90 € in the EU and the other destinations. Live chili plants have their own shipping rates: 6.90 € in Germany (free from 75 €), 10.90 € in the EU and 15.90 € outside it. Delivery to a DHL Packstation is possible within Germany. Traders and restaurants have a separate shipping scale.
Dispatch and delivery time
The shop ships within 24 hours on Monday to Friday, and orders placed by noon go out the same day. For Germany it quotes a guaranteed transit of 24 to 48 hours, mostly 24. Within the EU, delivery takes 2 to 4 working days, and you are told promptly if there is a delay. Parcels inside Germany go exclusively with DHL or Deutsche Post. Please give an address that someone can reach Monday to Saturday between 8 and 17.
Payment
The shop accepts PayPal, credit card (Mastercard and Visa), Sofortüberweisung and advance payment by bank transfer. Orders paid by PayPal or card are shipped within 24 hours of receipt, and transfers must arrive within two weeks. Purchase on invoice is offered only to existing customers, and the shop may restrict some orders to prepayment, PayPal, card or Sofortüberweisung.
Withdrawal and returns
You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons. The period starts when you or a person named by you receives the goods. Tell the shop in a clear statement, by letter, fax or email to [email protected], or use the withdrawal form on the site. The shop refunds all payments, including standard delivery, within 14 days of getting your notice, using the original payment method. It may wait until the goods are back or you prove you sent them. You pay the direct costs of the return shipping, and you must send the goods back within 14 days of your notice. Using cashback
Open the chili-shop24 page at daily cashback. It shows the current cashback (up to 5%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback appears as open and turns confirmed once chili-shop24 has reported the order. A returned item reduces it. Codes from other sites can cancel the cashback, so use only the offers on the shop page.
Practical tips
- Abroad there is no free shipping threshold, so one larger order costs less in shipping than two small ones.
- Buying seeds alone? Ask for the small-parcel option to pay less for shipping.
