Learning with Rocket Languages: refund, payment plans and cashback
Rocket Languages sells online language courses, so there is no parcel and no delivery address to think about. What matters before you buy is what a course includes, how long you can use it, what happens if you want your money returned and whether you can pay from where you live. The shop's help and refund pages answer most of that, and this guide sums it up in one place.
What you actually buy
Courses come in levels. Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Mandarin Chinese each have three levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, and there are advanced conversation courses called Play the Part. For Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, Egyptian Arabic, Hindi, American Sign Language and English there is a level 1 course, and an Inglés course teaches English to native Spanish speakers. In total the shop lists fourteen languages. You can buy each level on its own or all three levels as a package.
A typical course mixes podcast-style audio lessons with role play, language and culture lessons and vocabulary lessons. Languages with their own scripts also include writing lessons. The audio lessons can be downloaded in the Rocket Languages app for offline use.
Access time and payment plans
The shop says you get lifetime access to the course you buy, whether you pay once or through a payment plan. The plan spreads the cost over six months, and full lifetime access applies after all six payments are complete. Families can buy discounted copies of a course for other learners, per person, language and level, so everyone keeps their own progress. Businesses can ask for a quote, and there are gift vouchers that arrive by email.
Where you can pay from
Rocket Languages is operated by Libros Media Ltd., with offices in Torrance, California, and Christchurch, New Zealand. At the payment page you enter your billing details and country. If your country is not offered, or the country of your card differs from the country you order from, the support team sends an alternative payment link. The payment page shows which countries and options apply to you.
The 60-day refund
Every purchase comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee, which the shop describes as no questions asked. To use it, email [email protected] with your order receipt number. The team processes the refund within 2 working days and it can take up to 5 working days to appear on your statement.
Two cases work differently. Purchases made through the iOS app are refunded at the discretion of the Apple App Store, which typically follows a 14-day policy. With a payment plan, the 60 days start at the first payment. Ask within that time and every payment made so far is refunded. After day 60 there is no refund, but you can cancel the plan to stop further charges.

Using cashback
Open the Rocket Languages page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 10%) and the offers are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button, choose your course and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed after Rocket Languages has reported the order. If you take a refund, the cashback for that purchase is deducted again. Cashback is tracked through the shop's website, so buy there rather than inside the iOS app.
Tips before you buy
- Start the free trial first to see whether the audio lessons suit you.
- Keep the order receipt, because the refund request needs the receipt number.
- Buy on the website, not in the iOS app, if you want cashback and the 60-day shop refund.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker, as either can break the click.
- Keep other cashback and voucher tabs closed while you shop, since a later click can replace the first one.
