VBS Hobby from abroad: delivery countries, shipping costs and the one-month return
VBS Hobby is a craft and hobby supplier that sells through country shops. The Dutch shop at vbs-hobby.nl is run by VBS Hobby Service GmbH in Verden, Germany, and it covers a long list of countries. We read the English payment and dispatch page and the right-of-withdrawal page there in October 2026. If you shop for craft supplies from outside the Netherlands, the country-by-country rates are the part that decides what the order really costs.
Delivery countries
The Dutch shop delivers to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and France, and also to Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Cyprus. Switzerland and Liechtenstein are served from a separate shop, vbs-hobby.ch, and are priced in Swiss francs. The United Kingdom and the United States are not on the list, so a UK or US address is not covered by these pages. VBS also runs shops under .com, .at, .be, .cz, .fr, .it and .pl, which shows in the withdrawal text.
Shipping costs and free shipping
All prices include VAT. Shipping is a fixed amount per order, grouped by country:

In the first three groups delivery is free from an order value of 75 EUR. The delivery times apply when the offer names no other time. If you order items with different delivery times, VBS ships them together unless you agree otherwise, so the slowest item sets the date. There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
Payment by country
The methods differ per country. In the Netherlands you can pay by credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal and iDEAL. Belgium adds Bancontact, Austria offers prepayment, eps and invoice, Poland adds Przelewy24 and Blik, and Italy adds PostePay and Satispay. Credit card, Apple Pay and PayPal appear for every group, and the remaining countries can also use prepayment. A paid invoice has to be settled within 14 days, and a credit card is charged when the goods ship.
Returns and withdrawal
The current terms give consumers one month to withdraw, counted from the day you take possession of the goods, or of the last delivery if the order came in parts. You can declare it by email, by letter or with the online function on the site. Refunds, including the standard delivery, follow within 14 days of getting your notice, via the original payment method, and VBS may wait until the goods are back. Send them back within 14 days of telling the shop.
On cost, returns from Germany and Austria are paid by VBS if you use the return slip it issues. From other countries VBS also pays when you use its label. If you simply do not like the goods, VBS deducts a flat return fee of 6.99 EUR from the refund. Exceptions include made-to-order items, quickly perishable goods and sealed hygiene products once opened.
Using cashback
The VBS Hobby page at daily cashback shows the current rate (2.5%) and the offers we found, with the date of the last check. Press the shop button, shop as usual and pay. The cashback appears as pending in your free account and becomes confirmed after VBS has reported the order. A returned item lowers the amount by its share.
Practical tips
- From 75 EUR the shipping is free in most of the supported countries, so craft supplies for one project are cheaper in one basket.
- Check which country shop your address belongs to. Swiss addresses go through vbs-hobby.ch.
- Finish in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop.
