Shopping at Tenways: delivery in Europe, shipping fees, returns and cashback

Tenways sells e-bikes and ships them across much of Europe, but what you pay and how long you wait depends on the model and the country. The shipping policy, the refund policy and the warranty policy answer most questions, so here is what they say in plain terms.

Where Tenways delivers

In Europe the shop delivers within the European Union, with the exception of Malta, Cyprus and the EU outermost regions, and also to Switzerland. Portugal is covered for 18 of its 20 regions and Spain for 48 of its 52 provinces. The country selector in the header also lists Norway and the United Kingdom, so choose your country there and see what the cart accepts.

Two models are limited to a few countries. The Cargo One goes to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg. The Longtail Duo goes to the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark, Germany and Luxembourg according to the delivery details.

Shipping costs

Most models ship free: CGO600, CGO600 Pro and Plus, CGO800S and Plus, CGO009, AGO X, AGO T and AGO AIR. The two heavy cargo bikes are the exception.

Prices in the shop are shown in euros. The policy says fees differ by model and country because the carriers charge differently, so the cart is where you see the final shipping line.

Dispatch and delivery time

  • CGO and AGO series: dispatch within 2 working days, delivery 2 to 5 working days via DHL or FedEx.
  • Belgium and the Netherlands: delivery 2 to 3 working days.
  • Cargo One and Longtail Duo: direct truck delivery, about 7 working days after dispatch.

If no date is agreed, Tenways says it will deliver within 30 days after it accepts your order. A tracking email arrives once the bike ships. Busy periods, new releases and restock days can stretch the times, and the shop then notes that on the product page.

Damage, returns and warranty

Check the box when it arrives. The shipping policy asks you to send photos and contact customer service within 3 days of receipt, while the refund policy says 24 hours. Use the shorter window to be safe.

Consumers can return a bike without giving a reason. You have 14 days after receiving it to request the return, and you must contact customer service first, because parcels sent back unannounced are not accepted. The bike needs to be unused, with its original packaging and proof of purchase. A lost original package is charged at about 150 USD for a new one, so keep the box for the first two weeks. Return shipping is yours when you send it back for your own reasons, and sale items cannot be returned. The refund goes to the original payment method within 14 days after the shop receives the bike.

The warranty covers the frame for 5 years and electrical parts such as motor, battery and controller for 2 years. It applies in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, again without Malta, Cyprus and the outermost regions.

Cashback at Tenways

Open the Tenways page at daily cashback and press the shop button. The current rate is up to 3%, and the current offers listed there are checked daily. Order as usual afterwards. In your free account the cashback shows as open and moves to confirmed once Tenways has reported the order, normally after the return period. A returned bike is deducted again, and a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
