Shopping at Sunjoy: US delivery, large items, returns and restocking fees
Sunjoy sells gazebos, pergolas, sheds and carports, plus accessories such as netting, curtains and lighting. These are bulky goods, so the details of delivery and returns matter more than for a small parcel. Sunjoy has been in business since 2001 and the store described here is its US shop, which delivers inside the United States only.
Where Sunjoy delivers
The shipping policy says the shop currently ships to the contiguous United States, which means 49 states. It does not ship to Alaska, American Samoa, Micronesia, Hawaii, Guam, the Marshall Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands or other U.S. territories. There is no international delivery from this shop, so a buyer abroad needs a US delivery address.
Shipping cost and delivery time
The shop offers free shipping on most items within the contiguous U.S. Extra delivery fees, for example for oversized items or remote areas, are shown at checkout before you pay.
Processing differs by product size. Small parcel items such as lighting and accessories usually ship within 3 to 5 business days. Large items and freight, such as gazebos and pergolas, usually ship within 7 to 10 business days. After the order ships, delivery typically takes 3 to 10 business days depending on location, and rural areas can take longer. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

How big items arrive
Small packages travel with FedEx, UPS or similar carriers. Large and LTL items come by a freight carrier, with curbside delivery only: the carrier brings the item to the curb, driveway or nearest accessible point. Moving it into the house, garage or backyard is not included. Large deliveries may need a signature, so line up help beforehand. One order can arrive in several shipments, each with its own tracking number. If the delivery is damaged or incomplete, notify the shop within 48 hours and keep all packaging. If you refuse a delivery without prior authorization, or several attempts fail, return shipping fees may apply.
Returns and refunds
You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused and in original condition, with tags and packaging, and with the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns without prior authorization are not accepted. You file the request online with your order number and email address and upload 6 clear photos: the packaging before and after opening, the shipping label and the product. After approval you have 7 days to ship it back.
Some points deserve attention. A restocking fee of 15 to 20 percent may apply to some returns, and shipping fees, including return shipping, are not refunded. Sale items, gift cards and discounted products, including coupon purchases, are not returnable, nor are custom orders and items marked final sale. If the product shows signs of use, for example an installed canopy, the return may be denied. Exchanges are handled as a return first and a separate new order afterwards. Refunds go to the original payment method once the shop has inspected the return.
For warranty questions the FAQ says warranty periods differ by product and asks you to contact [email protected]. Extreme weather damage is not covered by the warranty.

In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Sunjoy has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback for it. Because discounted and coupon purchases are excluded from returns, think about whether a code is worth it, and note that a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
