Shopping at OutfitR: US and Canada shipping, returns, warranty and cashback
OutfitR sells bike racks, e-bike racks, loading ramps and cargo accessories for vehicles. It ships to the United States and Canada, with different prices for each. Racks are bulky and returns can be costly, so the rules deserve a close look before you order.
Where OutfitR ships and what it costs
The shop currently offers shipping within the United States and Canada. For US orders, standard shipping is free above $99 and $15 below that. Expedited shipping in the US is available for a $20 fee. In Canada, standard shipping is USD $20 and expedited shipping costs a CAD $50 fee. Sales tax is collected on all orders where it applies, and the checkout page shows the exact amount before you pay.
Processing and delivery time
OutfitR asks for 1 to 2 business days to process and ship an order and usually ships the same day or the next business day. Some products need about 1 to 2 weeks before they leave; the product page and your confirmation email then show the date. After shipping you get an email with tracking information. The clock for delivery starts at the ship-out date, not the order date:
- Standard shipping: typically 5 to 7 business days
- Expedited shipping: typically 3 to 5 business days
This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. If the latest shipping date shown at checkout slips by more than 10 business days, the shop offers a full cancellation and refund. An order that has shipped can no longer be cancelled, and the address can only be changed before shipment.
Returns, exchanges and warranty
Read this part carefully. The detailed return policy (effective August 27, 2026) treats a change of mind as a personal-preference return, and it is not free. For an unopened item you must contact the shop within 3 calendar days of confirmed delivery. The shop then deducts 35 percent of the purchase price as a processing and depreciation fee, plus a $35 return label fee, and the original shipping charges are not refunded. Opened or used items get at most 50 percent back, minus the $35 label fee and without any shipping refund. The FAQ page of the shop mentions a 30-day return, so ask support at [email protected] which rule applies to your order before you buy.
Damaged, defective or missing parts are handled free of charge. Contact the shop, ideally within 7 days of delivery, with your order number and dated photos or a short video. Depending on the case you get help with installation, a replacement part or product, a prepaid return label or a refund. New products carry a one-year limited warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects. Items marked Tested & Returned or Certified Pre-Owned cannot be returned and have no warranty. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and the FAQ page says 3 to 5 business days.

Payment
You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover or Diners Club. Digital wallets include Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Meta Pay and Venmo.
Using cashback
Open the OutfitR page at daily cashback, where the current rate (6%) and the offers are listed. Press the shop button, then order and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return period. A returned item reduces the cashback for it. A voucher code from another site can cancel the click.
Practical tips
- Check the fit for your car and bikes before ordering, because a change of mind is expensive.
- Keep factory seals and packaging intact until you have checked the delivery.
- Take dated photos of the carton when it arrives.
