Shopping at Imperia Caviar: overnight shipping, free delivery, claims and cashback
Imperia Caviar is a Los Angeles company that sells sturgeon caviar, salmon and trout roe, A5 Wagyu, truffle products and gift sets directly to customers in the United States. Because caviar is perishable, the delivery and return rules differ from an ordinary web shop. Here is what the shop says before you order.
Where Imperia delivers
Imperia ships across the US. The US Virgin Islands and some Alaska destinations are excluded, Puerto Rico is listed as excluded as well, and the courier cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. The shop does not deliver to other countries, so this is a store for US addresses. For Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico the shop points to its FAQ page and to customer service.
Shipping cost, free shipping and timing
Orders over $300 ship free. Below that, shipping is a flat $30 per order, and $50 to Hawaii. Everything goes by overnight courier with a FreshTag temperature indicator, so the parcel arrives the day after it leaves the facility, not the day after you order.
- Ship days are Monday to Thursday, delivery days Tuesday to Friday.
- Orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1 PM PT go out the same day via UPS or FedEx.
- Later orders on Thursday and all orders from Friday to Sunday ship the following Monday.
- Around Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, delivery can take longer, so order earlier.
Saturday delivery is possible on request for eligible addresses; the shop asks you to write to its concierge email. As third-party couriers carry the parcel, no exact delivery window is guaranteed.
Returns and complaints
Perishable goods are generally final sale. The shop says it examines everything for freshness before dispatch, and it expects you to inspect the box when it arrives. Claims for a damaged or unsatisfactory delivery must be emailed within 24 hours of receipt, with the order number, photos including the FreshTag, and the packaging kept. No credit is given for items that were discarded or partly eaten, or for parcels left out of refrigeration after delivery. In rare cases such as extreme weather the shop may offer an exchange of the same product, and you have to ask within 24 hours.

Payment and storage
The shop footer shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Venmo and Amazon. Imperia advises keeping unopened tins in the coldest part of the refrigerator and eating them within one week of delivery, up to three weeks if stored properly. Once a tin is open, finish it within 48 hours.
Cashback
Open the Imperia Caviar page at daily cashback, where the current rate is 4%, press the shop button and order as normal. In your free account the cashback shows as open first and turns confirmed after the shop has reported the order. A refund or credit for an item reduces the cashback for it.
Practical tips
- Choose a delivery address where someone is home on the delivery day, because the parcel needs refrigeration soon after arrival.
- Check the shipping total in the cart: a basket just under $300 pays the $30 fee, so compare it with a slightly larger order.
- Keep the photo of the FreshTag ready in case you need to report a problem.
- Finish the order in one visit, since a click from another cashback or voucher site can replace the first one.
