Shopping at DirectDeals: software delivery, shipping abroad, returns and cashback
DirectDeals is a US reseller of software licenses, cloud subscriptions, computer hardware and office products. It is a service-disabled veteran-owned business that has been selling since 1999 and focuses on Microsoft, security software and business IT. Most of what it sells arrives by email, which changes what matters before you order: how fast the key comes, what happens with opened software, and whether the shop sends anything abroad. We read the terms and conditions, the FAQ and the homepage in October 2026. The shop can change its rules, so confirm the details before you pay.
Who can order and where does it ship?
DirectDeals is aimed at US customers and US businesses. The terms say that international shipping is available only by special arrangement. That means there is no standard shipping option for customers outside the United States. If you live elsewhere, ask the sales team before you build a basket: the phone number on the site is (800) 983-2471, and there is a contact form. For purely digital products the situation is different in practice, because the key goes to your email address, but ask before you buy a licence for use abroad.
How fast does digital delivery work?
Most downloads and activation keys are sent by email through the electronic software delivery service once the order is verified, often within minutes. For some products the manufacturer delivers the key or download, which can take longer. DirectDeals submits the order to the manufacturer straight after purchase, and its support team follows the order. Orders can be refused or cancelled for pricing errors, stock problems or suspected fraud, so a verification step before delivery is normal.
Shipping of physical goods
Physical shipments come with tracking. The risk of loss passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier. The shipping costs and delivery times appear in the basket during checkout.
Returns and refunds
The return policy depends on the product type. Every return needs a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before you send anything. Opened software, activated licenses, CSP products and electronic software delivery products are non-returnable or carry a restocking fee. Refunds go to the original payment method, or as store credit at the shop's discretion. You pay the return shipping unless the return is caused by DirectDeals. Because of these limits it pays to check version, edition and licence type before activating a key.
Payment
The homepage lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and purchase orders. Companies, schools and public bodies can ask for a quote or pay on a purchase order. The shop also offers volume licensing quotes.

Using cashback
Open the DirectDeals page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to $37.5) and the offers we found are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return window. A returned product reduces the amount for that item.
Practical tips
- Check the exact edition, version and number of users before you pay, since opened or activated software is generally not returnable.
- Write down your order number so support can find your license in My Downloads and Licenses.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop, as either can break the click.
