Shopping at B'alam: US-only delivery, UPS speeds, returns and cashback
B'alam is a US wellness brand that sells scented candles and fragrance rituals made with soy wax, in reusable vessels. Before you order, it helps to know where it ships, which delivery speeds exist and how returns work, because the shop is strict on a few points.
Where B'alam ships
The shipping policy is short and clear: the shop currently does not ship outside the United States. There is no local pickup either. If you live in Europe or elsewhere, a standard order from the shop is therefore not possible, and your options are a US delivery address of your own or asking the shop by email at [email protected] whether anything can be arranged.
Processing and delivery speed
Orders are generally dispatched within 24 hours, excluding weekends, and you receive an email when the order is on its way. After that the delivery speed depends on the UPS service you choose at checkout.

Rates are set by the carrier and calculated at checkout from your address, so the faster services cost more shipping than standard. The shop also mentions free shipping thresholds, for example free shipping for orders over $50, so the basket page tells you whether your order qualifies.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days after receiving an item to request a return. The item has to be in the condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging, and you need the receipt or proof of purchase. Start by emailing [email protected]. If the return is accepted, the shop sends a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without asking first are not accepted.
Some things cannot be returned: perishable goods, custom or personalised products, personal care goods such as beauty products, and hazardous materials. Sale items and gift cards are also excluded. If you want a different product, the shop suggests returning the first one and placing a separate order for the new one.
Once the return arrives, the shop inspects it and tells you whether the refund is approved. An approved refund goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days, and your bank can take some more time to post it. If more than 15 business days pass after approval, email the shop. Check your parcel when it arrives, and write at once if the item is defective, damaged or wrong.
A clause for the EU
The returns policy contains a paragraph for goods shipped into the European Union: a 14 day right to cancel or return for any reason, with the same condition rules. Since the shipping policy says the shop delivers only within the United States, ask by email before you rely on this.

In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once B'alam has reported the order. A returned item is deducted from the cashback again.
Practical tips
- Choose the delivery speed at checkout. Standard takes up to 8 days, so order early for a gift.
- Keep the packaging and the receipt until you are sure you keep the candle, since only unused items with tags are accepted back.
- Do not buy sale items if you might want to return them, because they cannot be returned.
- Close other cashback and voucher sites while you shop, as a later click can replace the first one.
