Renting a server at servdiscount.com: payment, renewal, withdrawal and cashback
servdiscount.com rents dedicated servers and Linux vServers from a data center in Germany. The brand belongs to WIIT AG in Dusseldorf. Nothing is shipped, so this guide covers what matters for a hosting service: where you can use it, how you pay, how the contract renews, what the 30 day money-back promise is and how to withdraw. The details come from the shop's start page, its FAQ and its withdrawal page.
Who can order and in which currency
The website is offered in German, English, Turkish, Dutch, Italian and Russian, with prices in euros for the German, English, Dutch and Italian versions, plus a dollar version in English, lira in Turkish and rubles in Russian. Prices shown in the offers already include the German value added tax of currently 19 percent, and for a residence outside Germany the invoice is adjusted to the local rate. Private customers within the EU pay the VAT of their country of residence, which the shop adjusts on the invoice. For customers outside the EU the prices are net, without VAT. A business abroad with a VAT identification number can avoid German VAT if it sends the number before the first invoice.
What the service includes
The shop advertises dedicated servers with unlimited traffic, a 1 Gbit connection without throttling and a guaranteed bandwidth of 200 Mbit. DDoS protection is included, and so is 24/7 support. An IPv4 address costs 2,00 euros a month according to the start page, and further IP addresses and networks are listed on a page of their own. You can run any service on a rented root server, such as a web, mail or file server, within the terms. Hardware cannot be upgraded or downgraded afterwards, so choose carefully.
Besides dedicated servers there are Linux vServers (SD-VPS-100, SD-VPS-200, SD-VPS-300 and SD-VPS-500). They include a free .de domain and a free backup snapshot, and vCores, RAM or storage can be increased per day or per month.

Payment
Payment usually runs by direct debit. When you enter your IBAN during the order, you authorise the shop to collect the amount, and it is withdrawn two to three days after the invoice is sent. You can also pay by Visa or Mastercard, PayPal, Paysafecard, Sofortueberweisung or SEPA. For payment methods other than direct debit, extra transaction costs apply. Your invoice arrives as a PDF by email and is also visible in the customer management.
Contract, renewal and withdrawal
By default, a dedicated server contract renews automatically. If you prefer to pay in advance and avoid renewal, remove the tick at automatic contract renewal during the order. The shop then reminds you before the server expires, and you can extend it in the interface. The start page also advertises a 30 day money-back guarantee. There is an online form for withdrawal, where you give your name, email and contract, customer or order number. The shop confirms it after receipt. The page also has a button to cancel a contract and one to report abuse. Technical questions are not handled through the withdrawal form but through the support address or a ticket in the central customer management.
Using cashback
Open the servdiscount page at daily cashback, where the current rate (25%) is shown. Press the shop button and order as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order. If you withdraw from the contract, the cashback for that order is deducted again.
Tips
- Decide about automatic renewal during the order, not afterwards.
- Check the VAT line on your invoice if you live outside Germany.
- Keep other cashback sites closed while you order, so no later click replaces yours.
