Booking ACHAT Hotels in Germany: rates, cancellation, payment and cashback
ACHAT Hotels runs business and leisure hotels across Germany, with houses in cities such as Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, Dresden, Frankfurt Maintal, Cologne Airport, Stuttgart Airport and Bochum, and in smaller places such as Monschau, Bad Dürkheim and Heppenheim. For a guest from the UK, the US or elsewhere, a hotel booking raises different questions than a shop order: what are the cancellation rules, when do you pay and what happens with a voucher? Here is what the hotel group says on its FAQ page.
Where the hotels are
All hotels on the company's website are in Germany. There is no delivery involved, so the usual shipping questions do not apply. What matters instead is how you book: directly at achat-hotels.com, by phone or by email.
Rates and cancellation
ACHAT works with several rate types. Early-bird rates cannot be cancelled after booking, and you pay in advance, so a credit card is required. Flexible rates can be cancelled free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival, and a credit card is only needed if you plan to arrive after 6 pm. The Echt Grün rate keeps a credit card on file as a guarantee. At trade fair dates the hotels offer special fair rates with their own conditions. Bookings made through other providers can only be changed or cancelled there.
The hotel group says you always get the best price on its own website, as long as you compare the same conditions, meaning the same cancellation terms, inclusions and payment terms. You can book up to 9 rooms at once. Larger requests count as a group, and for those you write to [email protected].
Payment and extras
At ACHAT Hotels you always pay on arrival, which leaves more time at departure. Check-in is possible from 3 pm, check-out is until 11 am, and later check-out is possible on request, depending on availability and for an extra fee. Wi-Fi is free in all hotels, and every house is non-smoking. Children under 12 sleep free in their parents' bed, and breakfast is free for ages 0 to 6 and half price up to 11. Up to 2 dogs can come along, with costs that vary by hotel. A hotel room can only be rented from age 18.
Vouchers
ACHAT sells hotel vouchers on its website, and a voucher stays valid for 3 years after purchase. Value vouchers bought from 1 January 2026 must be redeemed on achat-hotels.com during booking, in the field for voucher or promo code. Redeeming at the hotel is not possible. You can use part of a voucher's value. Anyone who buys a voucher online can withdraw within 14 days using the form on the site, unless a legal exception applies.

Cashback on your stay
Open the ACHAT Hotels page at daily cashback, where the current cashback (up to 3%) is shown. Press the shop button and book on achat-hotels.com. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once the booking has been reported. A cancelled booking is deducted. Book in one visit and keep other cashback and voucher sites closed, since a later click can replace the first one.
