Shopping at Venchi in Europe: shipping by country, delivery and withdrawal
Venchi is an Italian chocolate maker from Piedmont. Its online store sells bars, chocolates, spreads, gift boxes and bulk bags, and it runs a separate store for each destination. This guide is about the Europe store (eu.venchi.com), which serves most EU countries plus Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and covers shipping costs by country, delivery times, customs and the withdrawal rules.
Which store delivers where
Venchi accepts orders for Italy, Europe and the USA, and you have to order on the site that matches the delivery country. The shop names separate sites for Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the USA, Japan and Singapore. The Europe store covers the other EU countries, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, and its price list includes Germany and France as well. The country switch in the store header shows prices in euros for the countries on the Europe list. Note that US and UK orders belong on the US and UK stores, not on this one.
Shipping costs by country
Costs are set per country, and shipping becomes free above a minimum order value. In the Europe store the shop lists these tiers:
| Shipping fee | Countries | Free shipping from |
|---|---|---|
| 9,50 euros shipping | Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain | 89 euros, then free |
| 12,90 euros shipping | Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia | 89 euros, then free |
| 12,90 euros shipping | Czech Republic, Poland, Romania | 99 euros, then free |
| 16,90 euros shipping | Latvia, Sweden | 89 euros, then free |
| 29,90 euros shipping | Estonia, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland | 149 euros, then free |
Orders to countries outside the EU, which means Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein here, are shipped duty paid. Venchi pays the taxes and customs duties, so you do not pay anything extra at the door.
Delivery times and heat protection
Delivery usually takes two to three working days, and three to five for islands and remote areas. The shop says it can stretch to five working days, and nothing is delivered on weekends or public holidays. The times are indicative and can change in low and high season. Once the order is ready you get an email with a tracking link. The carrier sends a message the day before delivery, and through that link you can change the address or date or redirect the parcel to a pickup point.
Chocolate and heat do not mix, so Venchi packs by hand and adds paper-wrapped gel packs to every order in the warmer months. The packaging is made of recyclable, plastic-free material.
Withdrawal and refunds
You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase. The exceptions matter for a food shop: the right of withdrawal does not apply to customised products, to sealed items that were opened after delivery, or to goods that can spoil quickly, and the shop counts all food in that group. In practice only products that can be returned and resold safely are eligible. Fill in the withdrawal form, send it to [email protected] and put it in the parcel. The return shipping is yours, and the parcel must reach Venchi within 14 days of the notice that the return is approved. The refund goes back to the original payment method within 14 days of your notice, after Venchi has checked that everything is intact and in its original packaging.
If the parcel arrives damaged or incomplete, take photos of the outside and inside and contact customer service. The shop advises refusing an obviously damaged parcel or signing for it as "accepted with reservation".
Payment
The shop accepts credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Bank transfer and cash on delivery are not available. Your card is charged when the order is invoiced and shipped, so a second entry on your statement is usually a temporary pre-authorisation.
Using cashback
Open the Venchi page at daily cashback, where the current rate (2.5%) and the current offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button there, then choose your products and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Venchi has reported the order. A refunded item reduces the cashback for it.
Practical tips
- Check your country in the table. In Germany, Austria and France a basket just under 89 euros may be cheaper with one extra bar than with the 9,50 euros shipping fee.
- Order early before warm weather or holidays and make sure someone is home on the delivery day.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop, since either can break the click.
