Shopping at LAMAX: country shops, shipping, returns and cashback

LAMAX is a Czech electronics brand with action cameras, dashcams, headphones and speakers, kids' smartwatches, e-scooters and other electric vehicles. Its online shop is run in several country versions, which matters for shipping prices and the currency you see. This guide explains what the shop says about countries, delivery, returns and complaints.

Country versions and currencies

At the top of every page you choose a language and a country. The selector lists seven countries: Croatia (EUR), Czechia (CZK), Germany (EUR), Hungary (HUF), Poland (PLN), Slovakia (EUR) and Slovenia (EUR). Pages are available in Czech, German, Croatian, Hungarian, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian and English. Pick your country first, because prices, the free shipping threshold and the checkout follow that choice.

Shipping costs and free shipping

The banner on the German and English pages reads: free shipping on all orders over 50 euros. On the Czech shop the banner shows a different threshold, 1,200 CZK, so check the banner of your own country version. Below the threshold the shipping fee depends on the shipping method you choose, and the shop lists the methods under "Shipping and payments".

The terms give a general delivery time: goods are usually delivered within 1 to 5 working days, and in exceptional cases it can take longer. When the courier hands over the parcel, check it. If the packaging is damaged, make a damage report with the courier or refuse the shipment.

Payment

The terms mention online card payment and bank transfer. The payment section in the footer shows the logos of Visa, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. For bank transfers you must quote the right payment symbol. The seller may ask for a deposit of up to 100% of the order value for some orders, and then issues a deposit invoice.

Returns and withdrawal

You have the right to return goods within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. The shop provides a withdrawal form and a return address in Kladno, Czech Republic. Return shipping costs are paid by you. Once the seller has the undamaged goods back, it refunds your payments, including the delivery cost of the cheapest method, within 14 days, by the same way you paid. You can cancel an order without penalty at any time before it ships, by email to [email protected].

Complaints and repairs

Complaints about a defective device are handled by the authorised service partner BELS CZ. You fill in the RMA form and send it with the device to a collection point. For Germany the shop names a collection point in Grossschoenau, or you can send the device directly to the service center in Benesov, Czech Republic.

In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once LAMAX has reported the order. A returned product reduces the amount for that item.
