Basket-Center: shipping prices to the UK, Switzerland and the EU, returns, Klarna
Basket-Center is a basketball and US sports shop with German-language pages: basketball shoes, NBA clothing, balls, equipment, club orders, lifestyle items and care products, plus an outlet. Its shipping page prints a price for each destination country, so you can compare before ordering. Customer service and the returns address are in France.
What shipping costs outside Germany
For the United Kingdom the page lists FedEx at €21.07 shipping, for Ireland €13.99 with Fastway / An Post and for Switzerland FedEx at €19.06. Sweden is listed at €18.54 shipping with PostNord, Denmark at €13.38 with DPD, Greece at €21.99 with FedEx, Poland at €12.11 with InPost, Hungary at €11.78 and the Czech Republic at €10.65 with Packeta. Liechtenstein costs €26.48 shipping.
Closer to home the prices are lower: Germany €7.99 with Hermès, Belgium €7.99, the Netherlands €8.49, Spain €8.99, Italy €8.99, Portugal €9.99 and Luxembourg €9.99. In the Balkans, the Baltics and Turkey many destinations carry a flat €25.99 shipping price. If your country is not in the table, contact customer service before ordering.
Delivery time and pickup points
The cut-off for orders is 15:00 Paris time. Processing needs 1 to 2 working days, then delivery takes 2 to 6 working days. The product page shows the time for the size you choose, directly under the add-to-basket button. For bulky or heavy items, extra shipping costs are added automatically and shown in the shipping method step.
You can also have a parcel sent to a pickup point or parcel locker, often a local shop such as a kiosk. You receive an email when it arrives. To collect it you bring ID and the tracking number, and a third person can collect with a signed authorisation and an official ID. The page links the tracking sites of the carriers it uses, from Chronopost and Colissimo to DPD, FedEx, GLS and PostNord.
Returns
You have 30 days from receipt to start a return. Items must be in the original packaging with intact labels and must not be worn or used. Personalised products such as flocked jerseys and skis with mounted bindings are excluded. You start in the returns area or from your order history. The costs are yours, unless an item is defective and customer service agrees, in which case it provides a prepaid label.
After the shop accepts a return you have 15 days to send the parcel to SPACEFOOT SAS in Montlouis-sur-Loire, France. The refund goes out within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, by default to the original payment method, though the shop may wait for the goods. You may choose a voucher valid for 12 months instead. There is no direct size exchange: return the item and order the right size again.

Payment
Listed are bank transfer, Klarna, bank card, Apple Pay and PayPal with payment in 30 days. Bank transfer is offered from €300. Klarna is offered for baskets with a minimum of €700 and up to €10,000. Which of these you see depends on your billing country.
Using cashback
Open the Basket-Center page at daily cashback, where the current rate is up to 2.5% and the offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button, then order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as pending and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.
Practical tips
- Look at the shipping price for your country in the table before you fill the basket.
- Try shoes at home on a clean floor if you may return them, since worn items are not accepted.
- Finish the order in one visit with the ad blocker off, and keep other cashback sites closed so the click is not replaced.
