Simple Project: free US shipping, delivery times and 30-day returns
Simple Project sells bathroom products such as upflush toilets and vanities. This guide goes through shipping, excluded delivery areas, returns and payment on simpleprojectus.com, with the details that matter before you order something large.
Shipping and delivery area
Simple Project offers free shipping on all products. In the United States it typically uses FedEx Ground, with insurance and tracking. Delivery addresses are limited to the United States, and the shop is explicit about the exceptions: some remote areas such as Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska cannot be delivered to, and FPO, APO and PO Box addresses are not eligible either.
To check your address, enter your ZIP code under Delivery Options on the product page. If delivery is not possible, the page shows the message that the item cannot be shipped to your postal code. In that case the shop advises you to use a different address, or not to order. For some remote areas the shop only finds out after the order and then notifies you by email.
How long it takes
- Dispatch usually happens within 1 to 2 business days after you order. An order placed on a Friday may leave on Monday or Tuesday.
- After dispatch, parcels typically arrive within 2 to 7 business days. The first day counts as the day after dispatch.
- Distance, carrier operations, weather, holidays and peak periods can change the exact time.
- The shop offers signature-free delivery, so check for the package promptly.
If an item is on backorder, the product page says so before you buy. Backordered items are paid in full at checkout, and the shop emails you within 24 hours with an estimated ship date. You can cancel a backordered item through customer service. Each order can go to one address only, so ship to several addresses with separate orders.
Returns and refunds
The shop advertises 30-day free returns, counted from the delivery date shown on the carrier's website. The conditions matter, though:
- The return must be started within 30 days of delivery and approved by Simple Project first.
- The product must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging.
- Products with residual installation marks are not accepted.
- If you return something for personal reasons, you pay return shipping, restocking fees and any other applicable charges. If the shop made a mistake or the item is defective, it covers the costs.
Contact [email protected] with your order number, the product details and photos of the product and its outer packaging. After approval you get a prepaid return label, and the label normally includes courier pickup. Do not mail the product to the original shipping address.
Refunds are usually processed 7 to 10 business days after the package reaches the warehouse and go back to the original payment method. PayPal refunds typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days, card, Afterpay and Klarna refunds within 3 to 10 business days. Please do not open a dispute with PayPal or your card issuer during a return, since the shop says that delays the refund.
If a product arrives damaged, you do not need to send it back. Contact the shop within 7 days of delivery with clear photos or videos of the damaged part, the whole product and the outer packaging, and it offers a reshipment or a refund.
Payment
Supported are PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and Apple Pay, plus instalments through Afterpay and Klarna. The shop adds no handling fee. Your own bank may charge a foreign transaction fee, because payments are processed internationally.
Using cashback
Open the Simple Project page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 9%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button, order and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback is shown as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order, which can take until the return window has passed. A returned item reduces the cashback for it.
Keep the whole order in one visit, and close other cashback or voucher sites while you shop, because a later click can replace the first one.
