Buying from Abelssoft: licenses, 30-day withdrawal, currencies and cashback
Abelssoft is a German software publisher, run by Ascora GmbH in Ganderkesee, known for Windows utilities, security and privacy tools, multimedia programs and Mac apps. Software is downloaded rather than shipped, so the points that count are license type, withdrawal, subscriptions and which currency you pay in. Language and currency
The shop is available in German and English, and the header lets you switch the display currency between EUR, USD, CHF and GBP. That makes it easy to see a price in your own currency before you decide. Abelssoft has no physical delivery step for downloads: after you buy, you download the program and activate it with your license.
Which license you get
The terms describe several license types, and the one you choose decides how long you can use the program and what updates you receive:
- Current version: unlimited use, with updates and follow-up versions included for 6 months.
- Saver subscription: usable for as long as the subscription is active, with all updates and new versions during that time. The company can adjust a subscription price and says it will notify you at least four weeks in advance.
- Lifetime updates: unlimited use and updates for the life of the product. The right is not transferable and ends if the product is discontinued.
Test versions are limited to 30 days. As a rule a license covers one computer. For SendMe the terms allow up to 5 devices on any platform. You may make an archive copy but not pass the software on to others, modify it or sell it.

Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers have a 30-day right of withdrawal for digital goods, counted from the day the contract is concluded. To use it, send a clear statement by email or post to Abelssoft, Ascora GmbH, Birkenallee 43, 27777 Ganderkesee, Germany. The terms also offer a withdrawal form and a contact form. Refunds go back to the original payment method, no later than fourteen days after the notice arrives, and the company charges no fees for the refund.
For services there is one condition: if you ask for the service to start during the withdrawal period, you pay a proportionate amount for what was already provided, and the right can end once the service is fully delivered with your consent. For physical goods, you bear the return shipping cost.
Payment, security and support
The shop pages are protected with SSL encryption, and payment data goes to the payment provider. Direct debit is reserved for existing customers with at least one paid order. If you do not want to enter card data online, the terms say you can order through the Customer Care Center or by email. The shop lists free email support and free trials among its benefits.
