Booking Eurowings Holidays: deposit, rebooking, cancellation and cashback
Eurowings Holidays sells package holidays that combine a flight with a hotel, run by Eurowings Holidays GmbH in Cologne. It is a travel service, so there is no parcel shipping. What matters here is which booking terms apply, how much you pay up front, when you can still change or cancel, and who to call. One practical point first: the site and its help pages are in German, with prices in euros.
Who can book and where
The booking pages sit under the German-language path holidays.eurowings.com/de-de, and there is no English version of the site. Flights leave from airports you choose in the search, and the hotels and destinations come from the offers listed there, such as Mallorca, Crete, Madeira or city breaks in Lisbon, Prague and Barcelona. The company address is Waldstraße 249, 51147 Cologne.
Paying: deposit, balance and methods
According to the flexible booking page, you secure a trip with a deposit of €50 per person aged 12 or over, as long as you book at least 28 days before departure. The remaining amount is due 28 days before the trip starts. If you book later than that, the full price is due right after the confirmation. You can pay by credit card, direct debit or PayPal, and the travel confirmation doubles as your invoice. The Eurowings credit card benefits do not work on Eurowings Holidays at the moment.
Changing, cancelling and withdrawing
You can rebook up to 14 days before departure without a rebooking fee, and you only pay any difference in price. A cancellation up to 14 days before departure is possible with a handling fee of €50 per person aged 12 or over, which is deducted from the refund. The page also names a free withdrawal on the booking day and up to the third day after booking, as long as the trip starts in more than 18 days. Read the cancellation terms in the AGB for later dates, since they depend on the booking.

Documents, flights and extras
You get a booking number straight after booking and a confirmation by email. Travel documents arrive by email 14 days before departure, and immediately for last minute bookings. For the online check-in you need the airline's booking code, which is in your travel documents. Check-in at the airport starts about 120 minutes before the flight. Luggage depends on the fare: you can choose between bag and no-bag fares where available. A transfer can be cancelled up to 48 hours before departure, and the company keeps a fee of €5 per person and refunds the rest to your original payment method. Travel insurance is recommended and shown before you complete the booking.
The price promise applies for 48 hours after your confirmation: if the identical trip is cheaper on another German travel website, the difference is refunded, under the conditions on the page.
Cashback at Eurowings Holidays
Open the Eurowings Holidays page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 3%) is shown with the offers we check every day. Press the shop button and book as usual on the shop's website. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed after the trip has been reported by the travel company. A cancelled booking reduces it again.
Practical tips
- Book the full trip in one visit, since the click is tied to that session.
- Note the date 14 days before departure, because the rebooking and cancellation terms above end there.
- Pure flights with Eurowings are not handled by Eurowings Holidays, so use the airline for those.
- Do not use a code from another site, as it can replace the cashback click.
