1pMobile SIM-only plans: delivery of the SIM, eSIM, EU roaming and cashback
1pMobile is a UK mobile provider that sells SIM-only plans rather than phones. You pick a bundle, get a SIM or an eSIM, and use your own handset. It is a service rather than a parcel shop, so the questions that matter are different: how the SIM arrives, where the plan works, whether you can keep your number and what the commitment is. This guide covers those points.
How you get the SIM
There is no charge for the SIM card. It is a triple cut card that fits standard, micro and nano slots, and it works in any unlocked 2G, 4G or 5G phone. The SIM is sent by Royal Mail post and should arrive within 1 to 3 working days. If you prefer not to wait, 1pMobile offers an eSIM. It is also free at sign-up: you choose your plan, select eSIM when ordering, get a QR code and scan it in your phone settings. Most recent iPhones, Android phones and tablets support eSIM, and you can switch back to a physical SIM later or order a replacement eSIM from your account when you change phones. The shop also mentions the eSIM for people visiting the UK.
Plans and commitment
The 30-day bundles include unlimited UK calls and texts, 5G and EU roaming (subject to the fair use policy). The sizes range from 5GB at £5 and 50GB at £10 up to 200GB at £20 per 30 days, and unlimited data is listed at £25 with further SIMs at half price. The shop says its 30-day plans can be changed at any time and carry no long-term commitment. There are also 1-year plans, which last a whole year and include a monthly data allowance, and a classic pay as you go tariff at 1p a minute, 1p a text and 1p a MB. Unlimited plans may be slowed at busy locations above 500GB per period.
Using the plan abroad
1pMobile says you take your tariff with you in 46 European destinations, among them Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Norway, as well as the Canary Islands, Balearics, Madeira and Azores. Boosts can be used while roaming up to a cap of 14GB, and a fair use policy applies. For countries outside that list, the international and roaming page lets you select a country and see call and roaming rates, and credit has no limits for use abroad. Check the page for your destination before you travel.
Keeping your number
To move your number you need a PAC code from your current provider. Text PAC to 65075 from your old SIM, then activate the new SIM in your 1pMobile account and enter the code. You choose the day for the transfer, with one working day of notice, and you can be without service for up to two hours on that day. Do not cancel your old contract first, because a disconnected number cannot be moved. You need to be in the UK and on your current network when the transfer starts. Your handset must also be unlocked.

Using cashback
Open the 1pMobile page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 50%) and the offers are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button, then choose your plan and order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once 1pMobile has reported the order. If an order is cancelled or refunded, the matching amount is deducted.
Practical tips
- Check that your phone is unlocked before you order, otherwise the SIM will not work.
- Order the SIM before you cancel your current provider if you want to keep your number.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop, because it can break the cashback click.
