Shopping at Wahy London: UK delivery, overseas orders, returns and cashback
Wahy London is a London company selling honey, loose leaf tea, dates, chocolate-covered nuts and gift hampers, with ZamZam water and black seed products alongside. Most customers are in the UK, but the site also has a country selector for overseas orders. Below is what the shop's delivery and returns pages say, so you know the cost, the timing and the rules for liquids and customs before you pay.
UK delivery options
Wahy offers three options for UK orders. Standard delivery takes three to five business days and shipping costs £5.95. Express delivery, for orders placed Monday to Friday before 11am, takes one to two business days and shipping costs £9.95. Orders of £100 or more qualify for free express next day delivery on the same Monday to Friday terms.
| Option | Time | Shipping cost |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 3 to 5 business days | Shipping £5.95 |
| Express, order before 11am Mon to Fri | 1 to 2 business days | Shipping £9.95 |
| Express, free shipping from a £100 order | 1 to 2 business days | Free shipping |
Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday go out on the following Monday. Named day and delayed deliveries are not offered, and Wahy does not ship to PO Box, BFPO, APO or FPO addresses. Some UK postcodes are excluded from next day and Saturday delivery, among them the Shetland (ZE), Kirkwall (KW) and Isle of Man (IM) areas, the Outer Hebrides and parts of Perth, Inverness and Aberdeenshire.
Delivery outside the UK
The site's country selector offers, among others, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. The delivery page does not print a price per country, so the checkout shows the figure for your address. If your country is missing, the shop asks you to contact it.
Two rules matter abroad. First, Wahy does not ship cordials or other liquids internationally. Second, import duties and taxes may apply on delivery outside the UK, you pay them, and the shop cannot predict the amount. The page suggests asking your local customs office before you order.
Returns and refunds
Wahy accepts returns of unwanted items within 14 days of delivery, for any reason, except personalised or customised products. The packaging has to be unopened, seals unbroken and the goods in their original condition. Email [email protected] with the order number, the items and the reason, and say whether you will post the goods or bring them to the London store at 103 Railway Arches, Cannon Street Road. The delivery charge of the original order is not refunded, and you pay the postage for sending items back. Refunds are processed within five working days after the goods arrive.
For items damaged in transit, incorrect or defective, returns are free. Email [email protected] within 14 days of delivery with photos and the problem. You receive an RMA number and a return label or in-store details. You can pick a replacement or a refund, and the replacement is dispatched within five working days of receipt. If the whole order comes back, the delivery charge is refunded as well.
Cashback
Open the Wahy London page at daily cashback, press the shop button and place your order in the same visit. The cashback rate (5%) is shown there. In your free account the reward appears as open and becomes confirmed after the shop has approved the order. A returned item is deducted from the cashback.
Practical tips
- Place express orders before 11am on a weekday, otherwise the order moves to the next working day.
- If you live abroad, check customs rules for food products before ordering.
- Do not open sealed jars or boxes until you know you are keeping them, since unopened packaging is a condition for an unwanted item return.
