Shopping at TileStyle: Irish delivery, pallet costs, returns and cashback
TileStyle is an Irish supplier of tiles, wood flooring, bathrooms and fixing materials with a showroom, a warehouse and an online shop. The online shop has one clear limit that matters for anyone outside the country: it only delivers within the Republic of Ireland. Below you find what the shop says about shipping, timing and returns, plus how to earn cashback on an order.
Where TileStyle delivers
Online orders can only be delivered within the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland is not covered by the online shop at the moment. If you would like to order for a Northern Irish address, TileStyle asks you to contact the showroom. Addresses in Great Britain or elsewhere in Europe are not part of the online delivery service, so a buyer abroad needs an Irish delivery address. The prices and delivery charges on the site are shown in euro and include VAT.
Shipping costs in Ireland
Charges depend on the products, the quantity, the weight and the delivery location. Most tiles travel on a pallet, even in small quantities, and so do baths, shower screens, basins, toilets, mirrors and bathroom furniture. The shop lists these shipping rates:
| Shipment | Dublin | Rest of Ireland |
|---|---|---|
| Small parcels (shipping) | €14.15 shipping | €14.15 shipping |
| 1 pallet, up to 45 m2 (shipping) | €67.65 shipping | €77.49 shipping |
| Wood flooring pallet (shipping) | €83.64 shipping | €125.46 shipping |
| Trims (shipping) | €24.60 shipping | €45.51 shipping |
How delivery works
TileStyle runs a kerbside service. The order is left at the nearest accessible point outside the property, and the drivers do not carry goods inside. Many pallets arrive on a tail lift vehicle. If access is difficult, for example on gravel, on uneven ground or with a steep or narrow driveway, tell the shop when you order. In some cases a Moffett truck is needed and an extra delivery charge may apply. If nobody can accept the delivery, a redelivery charge may be added. The shop does not collect pallets afterwards, so the pallet stays with you.
How long it takes
For items in stock the shop aims for 3 to 5 working days, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, counted from the order date. Samples can take longer, and so can busy periods. Special order items show an estimated lead time on the product page, which can change with supplier availability. TileStyle suggests waiting until the goods have arrived before you book your installer.
Returns and withdrawal
For online orders you can cancel and return stocked goods up to 14 days from the day after you receive them. The goods and the packaging must be in perfect, resalable condition and in the original packaging. You arrange the return and pay for it. The refund follows once the goods have been received and checked in the warehouse. Fill in the contact form first, because return paperwork has to be issued. Returns go to the warehouse and not to the showroom.
There are exceptions. Bespoke, customised and special order goods cannot be cancelled or returned once the order is processed. Sale, promotion, clearance and ex-display goods are not accepted after the 14 day period. Faulty or wrongly supplied goods are treated separately, and your statutory rights stay as they are.
Cashback with daily cashback
Open the TileStyle page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 1%) is shown. Press the shop button, then browse and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first appears as open and turns confirmed once TileStyle has reported the order. A returned item is deducted from the amount.
Practical tips
- Order a sample first if the colour matters, and check your measurements in square metres before you buy.
- Think about where the pallet can be left, and tell the shop about any access problem when you order.
- Keep other cashback and voucher tabs closed while you shop, because a later click can replace the first one.
