Buying the Milo communicator: delivery countries, shipping and 30-day returns

· 2026-10-15

Milo is a small clip-on communicator for groups who ride, ski or surf together. It works as a hands-free walkie-talkie with its own mesh network, so no phone signal or Wi-Fi is needed. The device is sold through the Milo store, run by ATS trade & service GmbH in Kundl, Austria. The store is built country by country, which makes the delivery country the first thing to pick. We read the store and the Milo Store Support help pages in October 2026 and collected the shipping and return rules below. Some help articles are older, so check dates at checkout.

Which countries get a delivery

The store asks you to select your delivery country and language before you order. The list in the country selector contains Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Australia. The support article "Shipping countries" is older (last updated March 2022) and names only Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, saying others may be added later. Treat the live country selector as the more current source. If your country is not in it, the store cannot deliver there yet.

Shipping costs and delivery time

According to the help centre, Milo covers shipping and return postage on orders of €79 or more. Below €79 a shipping fee of €7.90 is charged. The article does not say whether the amount differs by country, so look at the checkout once you have chosen your delivery country.

The store says products are ready to ship at once. Delivery takes up to 3 working days within Germany and Austria and up to 5 working days in the other delivery countries. A different date on a product page overrules this general rule. Packages go with UPS, and GLS is used only inside Austria. Customs for Switzerland, the UK or Australia are not mentioned on the pages we read, so ask support if you order there.

Returns and refunds

Milo extends the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal to 30 days, counted from the invoice date. The goods must be undamaged, in the original packaging and with all accessories. Pack the parcel securely, because it stays your responsibility until it reaches the warehouse, and keep the postage receipt. The return form goes inside the parcel and the label on the outside. A return without the form is refused. You create the free return label through the GLS portal, or you send it at your own cost with another carrier to the warehouse address in Kiefersfelden, Bavaria, after getting a complaint certificate from support. Returns are checked on arrival. Damaged or used items get no refund.

The refund follows within 14 days after the return has arrived and been checked, to the payment method you used.

Payment

You can pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, PayPal, Klarna Sofort or invoice with Klarna (Pay Later). EPS works only in Austria, GiroPay only in Germany and iDeal only in the Netherlands. Credit cards need 3D Secure.

Using cashback

Open the Milo page at daily cashback. It shows the current rate (2%) and the offers we found, each with the date it was last checked. Press the shop button there, then browse and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback first appears as open and turns confirmed once Milo has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.

A few practical tips

  • Milo is sold in sets of two, three or four devices with clips, so one order can pass the €79 line easily.
  • Keep the original box and every accessory until you are sure you keep the set. Missing parts can cost you the refund.
  • Pick your delivery country in the store first and check the checkout total.
  • Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker, as either can break the click.
