Lyca Mobile Denmark: SIM or eSIM, roaming, number transfer and cashback

· 2026-09-19

Lyca Mobile Denmark sells prepaid plans without a contract for the Danish market. The product is a SIM card or an eSIM rather than a parcel of goods, so the useful questions are who can order, how the SIM arrives, how roaming and calls abroad work and how you move your number over.

What you get and where it works

The Danish site is in Danish and offers prepaid plans with data, calls and texts in Denmark. Plans list a roaming allowance for the EU, Ukraine and Moldova, and the larger plans include free calls in Denmark and to the EU and the USA, plus a number of international hours. The shop adds that every plan includes data and national minutes in Denmark, EU roaming data and international minutes to EU countries, the USA and some other countries. The exact numbers sit on each plan card and change with the line-up.

Physical SIM or eSIM

You can pick a physical SIM or an eSIM when you buy. The shop says physical SIM cards are delivered to you free of charge, and an eSIM can be activated online straight away. Delivery time for the card is not stated on the pages, so choose the eSIM if you need to be connected on the same day and your phone supports it. The shop has a device compatibility page for eSIM.

Keeping your number

After you have bought and activated the SIM you can move your existing number with the online porting form. The shop says the process typically takes 1 to 3 working days. Have the ICCID of the new SIM ready, and a one-time code is sent to verify the old number. Your service is interrupted from the transfer time you pick until porting is finished.

SIM registration

Registering the SIM is not mandatory in Denmark and the card works without it. The shop still recommends it, because only a registered SIM can be replaced with its plan and credit if it is lost, stolen or damaged, and only a registered SIM can be swapped between physical and eSIM.

Contact and cancelling

There is no contract and no monthly bill, and when your balance runs out you top up again or stop using the card. Support offers a chat with the assistant LIA around the clock. By phone, Lyca customers call 3332 or +45 71303332, which is always free, and everyone else calls +45 70145556 from 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. Email goes to [email protected] and can take 5 to 7 working days for a reply. For a refund on an opened SIM, ask customer service before you buy.

Cashback on your purchase

Open the Lyca Mobile Denmark page at daily cashback, where the current rate ($9) and the offers are listed. Press the shop button, choose your plan and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and turns confirmed once Lyca Mobile has reported the order. If an order is refunded, the cashback for it is deducted.

Handy to know

  • Order in one browser session with the ad blocker paused, so the click is tracked.
  • Close other cashback and voucher tabs while you shop.
  • The shop pages are in Danish, so use your browser translation if you need it.
