Joining Luxy: free features, premium plans, renewal and refunds
Luxy is a dating app for people who describe themselves as selective singles. It is free to download, new members go through a profile review, and premium plans unlock extra features. With a subscription service there is no parcel to track, so the points that count are what is free, how payment and renewal work, how to cancel and how to ask for a refund. This guide sums up what the Luxy help center says.
What you get for free
Luxy is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. The free features cover viewing profiles, getting profile recommendations, liking and passing to make matches, and unlimited conversations with your matches. Standard members have daily limits, for example 30 swipes a day, while BLACK members get 60. Members must be at least 18.
New profiles are reviewed by the Luxy team within the first 24 hours. After that you get full access or partial access with the chance to improve your profile for a new review. A paid Priority Pass skips the wait, and Luxy BLACK gives immediate access to the app, although your profile is still reviewed. You can delete your account at any time, also while it is under review.
Where you can use it
Sign-up works with Apple ID, Google, Facebook or email, and by phone number in the United States, Brazil, the UK, Mexico, Canada, India and Australia. The help center says the web version has been taken offline temporarily for security upgrades, while the payment help still lists PayPal for PC users, so open the site to see what is available on the day you sign up.
Premium plans and prices
There are three tiers: Luxy PLUS, Luxy BLACK and Luxy PLATINUM. Standard premium tiers regularly start at €49.99 per month, and the price can vary with the package duration, local currency and regional promotions. BLACK is described as the most popular one and adds features such as BLACK messages, search by location and the Who Likes Me list. In-app Coins are a separate currency for items like boosts, roses and extra swipes.

Payment, renewal and refunds
How you pay depends on the device: iOS users pay with their Apple account, Android users with their Google Play account, and PC users via PayPal, where a credit card works without a PayPal account. Luxy accepts one-off payments for its plans, so an annual plan is charged for the full year up front, and the 1-month plan suits you if you prefer monthly billing.
A subscription renews automatically if you chose the auto-renew option at checkout, and you can cancel the renewal at any time in the subscription settings of Apple, Google Play or the PayPal automatic payments page. You cannot switch plan type until the current one has expired. To ask for a refund, contact the in-app customer service or email [email protected] with your payment receipt and the reason. Duplicate payments through the App Store or Google Play can be reversed in your phone's subscription settings.
Using cashback
Open the Luxy page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 15%) and the offers are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button and sign up or subscribe as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed after Luxy has reported the purchase. A refunded subscription reduces the amount again. Before you subscribe
- Try the free features first and wait for the 24-hour review before you pay for a plan.
- Decide on the plan length, because the full period is charged up front.
- Note the renewal date and cancel the auto-renewal in the store or PayPal settings if you do not want to continue.
- Finish the signup in one visit and pause your ad blocker, as either can break the click.
- Keep other cashback and voucher tabs closed while you shop, since a later click can replace the first one.
